I switched off the second episode half way through it was too boring.

The police car very slowly trudging up the empty feild is probably a symbolic display of how it feel to write the script.

I sort of watched the second episode tonight. It's still utter garbage but that horse is gorgeous

I've watched both episodes tonight & feel like I need to draw family trees to make sense of it all. Except I can't remember most of their names so they'd be labelled policewoman/not-Kat's-son/horse-girl, etc. I'm mostly confused because half of them look about the same age, despite apparently being each others parents.

The suggestion that they shoe-horned Kalfie into the story makes so much sense!

Watched the third episode on RTE last night.
Like Agnu, I am confused as to who is who, and parents and children look the same age.

I haven't a clue who is who and I'm used to Eastenders which has the most complex family trees ever

Tommy is cute though.

Has anybody got who is who sussed.

There's Dead Man and his wife.
They have 4 children - American Woman, Long Haired Woman, Not Kat's Son and one who died in the boat accident.

I think Cab Driver Man is married to Long Haired Woman. They do not appear to have children. I think.

Pregnant Cop is married to Not Kat's Son and they have 2 children plus one on the way.

American Woman has one son.

Maybe...

No Soup, Not Kat's son is long haired daughter's son I think. Teenager that found dead man on beach is his daughter and referred to dead man as 'great grandfather'

I think it's: Dead Man and his Wife have 3 children - American Woman, Long Haired Woman and Dead in a boat accident woman.

American woman has the gay American son and is also the mother of dead in the boating accident child.

Long haired woman is married to farming man and they are the parents of Not Kat's Son who is married to pregnant cop and has two children - Horseriding Teenager and little boy who was playing with Tommy.

Dead in boat accident daughter was married to Man who owns the cottage and they are parents of Mad Priest.

I was really looking forward to this but wtf? After all these years the priest suddenly decides to become a murderer? Who does stuff like that? Not really fitting in with a rural Irish community. It could have been written and played out so much better than this dark mess.

That's what I'd figured it out to be but I thought mad-priest always referred to dead-man/wife by their first names, not as grandparents. Part of me wants to re-watch & make notes. A bigger part of me really can't be bothered to waste my life watching that nonsense again!

Who passed this as decent drama.
I hope the actors are mortified at being associated with it- they should be!!!

I'm enjoying it, I have a feeling it will turn out that the priest is not Kat son's as Agnes is hiding something and it could be that.

I flip between thinking it is awful, and quite liking it.

Thanks for the family tree, Shocked and pot - I might have to print that out to refer to during this week's episode. Mind you, putting Kat on the same generation line as Dermott is a bit misleading!
