Anyone going to watch it tonight?

As they search for Zoe's male twin?

I'm not sure it's the OJ as such....I suspect he has issues with the fact that he keeps asking via notes for none to be delivered.

Psychological maybe....he's being over-ridden....ooooh. Deep stuff.

Time will tell I suspect.

honeyrider · 21/05/2017 22:51

The will was far-fetched, his wife is entitled to a share of the estate.

Akire · 21/05/2017 23:39

Oh good glad someone brought up the OJ thing, like what was that all about? Why would you throw it down sink? Why not stick on neighbours door step? The milkman will charge you just the same!

Shows how unrealistic EE is when a tiny Irish village is more ethnically diverse than east London

hollyisalovelyname · 22/05/2017 16:00

I think it's following on in its awfulness from the last time Eastenders visited Ireland.
I haven't seen episode 2 yet.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/05/2017 18:58

I enjoyed. He's certainly a nutter

Letting his mum drown and killing old man

Tho that's Kats fault for telling him her life story when Alfie said keep it quiet

Tho if he knew how come his dad and him didn't know

Good kept secret in a small village .....

Clearly, what will happen is that Kat's crazy son will end up holding Tommy on the edge of a cliff or something.

I feel sorry for Kat - she has terrible luck (apart from wining £1 million of course)

Btw I think Kat's different clothing might be to do with her having lived in Spain.

Optimist1 · 23/05/2017 07:04

The plunge neckline and leopardskin print combos she used to rock in Albert Square would have them aghast in Redwater, wouldn't they? Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2017 09:28

Her hair exstensions aren't great 😂

Alfie does look old ......

Wonder who has the twins in Spain

Who would happily look after twins for 2/3weeks 24hrs a day

OP posts:
hollyisalovelyname · 23/05/2017 18:04

I think it is awful.
I really hoped it would be good.
Sad

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/05/2017 22:42

Who saw tonight's x

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 25/05/2017 22:56

I did. I don't think it is improving although I do want to see how it pans out.

Now that someone suggested it was written as a series and then Kat and Alfie replaced the original leads I've not been able to see past that.

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 26/05/2017 02:06

i just couldn't stay interested in it tonight

i think the script is quite amusingly bad in places 'this is what they do in ireland'

k and a are hardly in it.shows how great they are as actors huh.

troodiedoo · 26/05/2017 03:54

Well I was hoping episode two would be an improvement but it was even worse. It's like someone got a broadchurch by numbers painting set for Christmas and threw in a splash of Irish stereotyping.

Surely nobody has ever said in their will that they leave someone their memories?? Unless it was written on the back of a beer mat.

LottieandMia · 26/05/2017 06:31

Yes I thought episode 2 was pretty dire tbh

SoupDragon · 26/05/2017 07:23

I can't shake the feeling that if you took Kat and Alfie out of it and replaced them with two anonymous characters it would improve immensely.

troodiedoo · 26/05/2017 10:16

Agree SoupDragon! Has the feeling of being heavily edited as well to make the best of a bad job.

MakeItStopNeville · 26/05/2017 15:38

I quite enjoyed the first one but last night's was embarrassingly bad.

Needakicking · 26/05/2017 18:56

I thought kats son was called luke though? Or did the writers forget that

SoupDragon · 26/05/2017 19:02

He probably wasn't properly named and registered before being handed over. It doesn't seem like a genuine, legal adoption.

SoupDragon · 26/05/2017 19:03

The new parents would have called him whatever they wanted.

Needakicking · 26/05/2017 19:05

Ah ok thanks for clearing that up!

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 27/05/2017 13:07

Why is Angeline Ball American if she's one of the dead man's kids?

SoupDragon · 27/05/2017 13:19

I assumed she emigrated to America.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 27/05/2017 15:05

Oh me too but why has she got an American accent? No one changes their accent completely unless they are a kid when they move.
