Anyone else who is eagerly awaiting the start of the next season and want to chat about predictions and theories for what is going to happen as the Game of Thrones draws to a conclusion over the next two series?

Spoilers inevitable, as it's almost impossible to look forward without looking back at what has happened in the show already. But please mark spoilers about leaks relating to Seasons 7 and 8 in case some pp don't want to see photos and things ahead of the show.

So, who is going to win the Game and who is going to die? Share your thoughts, theories and crazy tinfoil hat suggestions here!

Jaime is definitely going to turn against cersei. He spent his whole life being vilified for killing his king when he threatened to do the same thing cersei has just done.
Darnarys will kick cersei's ass and Jaime will defect to join tyrion and daenarys.

Bran won't make it to Jon and Sansa this series. The truth will stay secret until the very end. Sansa will betray Jon (I hope not but think she will)

Arya will make it to Jon and Sansa very soon.

@Gallavich I don't trust Sansa either.

I don't think sansa will betray Jon exactly but she will do some scheming of her own that won't necessarily end well for him.

I just want to see more of Lyanna Mormont. That kid had attitude.

Yes maybe Sansa will fuck things up by mistake. I do think she will resent Jon for the king in the north thing

Oh definitely. But then I see Littlefinger slowly pulling her strings to think bigger than the north. I wouldn't be surprised if she gives in to him.

Just finishing season 1 as a re-watch. So much easier to follow who's who (and who to keep track of).

No, Daenerys is Jon's aunt if he is the child of Raegar and Lyanna Stark.

MARY Dany is Jon's aunt, I believe. Rhaegar was her much older brother.

I'm hoping for some big showdown/trial by combat between Zombie Mountain and The Hound. And also Jaime betraying Cersei.

Another good theory is that Tyrion is actually a Targaryen -

• his mother died shortly after childbirth (as did Dany's mother and Jon's too)

• Tywin's "you're not my son" moments

• Tyrion's appearance (described in the books as having almost white-blonde hair and mismatched eyes)

• Tyrion getting on with the dragons (and whole 'three heads of the dragon' thing)

I'm just hoping for Tormund Giantsbane

Although I have heard the most amazing spoiler that involves something awful happening that would make epic tv!

SuperPissed Mountain vs Hound would be INCREDIBLE

I think there's going to have to be a dragon turning to make the finale interesting. I read another theory about it though - don't know if I can share it here?

brie, I believe the Mad King had a bit of a thing for Tyrion's mother Joanna, so it's not too far fetched!

I'm hoping for more interesting developments with the plot, along the lines of Cersei and her blowing everything to smithereens moment and less gratuitous gore. The sex is fine by me as long as it's consensual.
