A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

Yes, the absence of glasses took my mind right off anything else last week. As a short-sighted person I protest!

Sure Ethan has worn contacts before coz I thought he was cute with no glasses

And yes although I was very grief stricken when dh died I always wore contacts

It's probably part of a complex ongoing storyline eg:

• Scott happens to be at the pub, where he sees the glasses on the table (cos they haven't been moved for several weeks)
• He then uses the magic searching powers to find Ethan.
• On the way he happens to crash into Robin, resulting in then both being taken to the ED
• Everyone refuses to treat Scott except Ethan
• Scott runs away
• Ethan runs after him (and it's pouriing with rain)
• Ethan and Scott get in a fight
• Both die
• Charlie tells everyone that his office door is always open if anyone wants a confidential chat and no one sees the irony in that whilst keeping his mouth in a straight line

And that's only the first 10 minutes!

I guess we'll find out soon enough...

No staff cuts would be required if you could arrange for existing staff to work their shifts instead of heading off to attend to personal business. Connie and Jacob were absent for most of tonight's shift. Charlie appeared to spend much of it puzzling over a parcel in his office. Lily was sitting in a bus shelter in the car park with a patient who had discharged herself whilst another patient went into crisis. Just saying!

Few things that made me snigger whilst eye rolling:

Lilly's predictable early return (so quick Cal's flowers haven't even wilted)

The sister calling put to the paramedics instead of the fire fighters who where on the scene.

Erm ...

Ok this has fallen flat on its face. There was other things but I've managed to forget between watching then getting up to get phone and opening this thread.
