A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

I wonder what the deal with Bea is

Auldspinster · 04/03/2018 11:08

AA lady was pretty perceptive about Dylan's avoidance issues.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/03/2018 14:15

Still annoys me they made Dylan drink

And yes glen ans trying to name change - he lost all rights when he walked out imo

frazzled3ds · 10/03/2018 22:37

Well that's the blogger storyline dealt with.... the rest of it was just a bit bland really (as was the blog story really)

weetabix07 · 10/03/2018 23:39

Glad to see Ethan sort Alicia out at the end. He could have lost his job! Rash is very annoying. Quite like Bea.

Purplemond · 11/03/2018 08:58

i dont think the costume department like anyone wearing glasses, first Ethan and now Rash

Optimist1 · 11/03/2018 18:25

Thinking about the blog - why was it such a big deal with hospital management? It appeared to be a factual account of the strains that the ED was operating under, not a personal attack on anyone and not bringing the staff or department into disrepute. Probably would have been a bit of an eye-opener for the board, if they'd seen it!

StripySocksAndDocs · 11/03/2018 21:46

Not sure Optimist1!!

I'm not pushed on either Bea or Rash. Losing interest in all characters; except Etan maybe.

MissEliza · 11/03/2018 21:50

Really glad about how Ethan dealt with Alicia. Going back to last week, does anyone else think we'll see the AA lady in a future episode?

HettySunshine · 11/03/2018 22:10

Purplemond, I'm sure the chap who plays Robert in Corrie was the one who was married to a nurse (who may have gone on to be Emma in Emmerdale) whose car crashed into a lake with her and their children on board and they all died.

I think he then slept with Alice the very shy, reserved HCA in his grief and abandoned her in the morning. I remember it so clearly because she quoted the first line of A Grief Observed by C.S.Lewis, 'No one ever told me grief feels so like fear...' and it always stuck with me.

I quite liked Saturdays episode.

spiderlight · 12/03/2018 09:15

Did anyone see the March trailer?!

Just watched the trailer, I agree with Kittymum. It’ll be good to have something a bit more exciting happen but I’m a bit meh with their storyline.

I’ve been watching old (good!) Casualty episodes with a patient at work recently. Ones from 2010 with Nick Jordan, Jay, Adam etc. God I’d forgotten just how irritating Ruth was and how much I didn’t like her character!

Another car crash 🙄

spiderlight · 12/03/2018 13:12

And heavens forfend that a wedding would have a happy ending! Between this and Call the Midwife, I'm about ready to give up on BBC programmes altogether - they seem to be allergic to happy endings!

AlistairAppletonssexyscarf · 12/03/2018 13:48

As a lifelong glasses wearer, I think a job at Holby City Hospital would be a better option than laser surgery.

Jac Naylor is looking a lot healthier in the ED than she is in Holby City too, so maybe it's just that department that has supernatural healing qualities.

Auldspinster · 12/03/2018 14:06

As much as i'd like to see Dylan getting some action, i'm pretty sure it's highly inadvisable for recovering alcoholics to fraternise in AA. Mind you this is Casualty so they'll probably be married in a couple of weeks.

frazzled3ds · 17/03/2018 21:57

Bit more buzz about tonight's episode, actually got some interesting patients. There's a new spring trailer up on the bbc website if anyone is interested.

purpleme12 · 17/03/2018 22:44

Starting to like Bea and Rash

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 17/03/2018 23:30

How long are they going to string out the Rash/Gem will they/won't they storyline before they get together and then kill one of them off, hopefully Gem

MissWimpyDimple · 18/03/2018 12:32

The Rash/Gem is a total rehash of the Ethan/Honey story.

Yawn.

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/03/2018 13:00

I was watching Doctor Who (on Netflix) with DS and Jeff turned up. Got me thinking that I think I'd pin point the down turn of Casualty around when he left.
