A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

Jeff and Dixie were the last decent pair of decent paramedics anyway!!!

spiderlight · 19/03/2018 09:57

I miss Jeff and Dixie - they were a fantastic double-act and I was gutted when Jeff was killed off.

How old is Elle supposed to be??? Hmm

frazzled3ds · 24/03/2018 21:39

She's surely in her forties at least? Fairly ridiculous storyline that one.... as was most of it really, although the lass with EDS (is that right?) was a pleasant one in so much as she was believed (eventually) and given a diagnosis after years of not having anything useful.

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 24/03/2018 22:03

The actress who plays her is 54

purpleme12 · 24/03/2018 23:16

You just knew that thing with Glen was going to happen as soon as his seizure thing happened. It really annoyed me him not going to hospital in the first place. For god's sake

GnotherGnu · 25/03/2018 00:45

Proud to say I diagnosed EDS about half an hour before our heroes did. Mind you, I'm a bit sceptical that it would have gone undiagnosed for ten years - it really isn't as rare as they made out.

TheDrsDocMartens · 25/03/2018 09:07

I got EDS too. The frequent dislocations should have got the hypermobility bit checked at least.

Why didn’t Robin deal with the seizure /phone an ambulance?

purpleme12 · 25/03/2018 09:58

She didn't have time did she. She noticed him having one lost sight of the road which caused her to crash

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 25/03/2018 10:44

Purple she stopped the car first and then decided to do a three point turn without checking the road first. I am glad Charlotte wasn't in the car though even though they left her without so much as a backwards glance

piebarm · 25/03/2018 10:59

I got eds too -it's a family favourite game if diagnose the patient before the doctors do

Robin always goes to full on panic mode in a crisis -you'd like to think she wouldn't after so many years of emergency medicine but the writers have other ideas

Did anyone else notice that the actress that plays Connie directed last night? You would have thought the MAP storyline wouldn't have been so terribly done with a mature female director but hey ho!

GnotherGnu · 25/03/2018 15:14

So do we think Robin's been written out? And does that leave Duffy and Charlie literally holding the baby?

choccyfiend78 · 25/03/2018 15:39

Cue nexts weeks episode beginning with robin and glen being rushed into the ed even though they were blatantly miles away from holly and would almost certainly be taken to a different hospital!! Grin

morningtoncrescent62 · 25/03/2018 17:52

So do we think Robin's been written out?

Nope sadly. She'll be rushed in to ED at the start of next week, nearly die, pull through, nearly die again of some unforeseen complications and pull through again in the final seconds of the show. Meanwhile there'll be another accident with huge numbers of casualties putting a strain on ED and forcing Charlie to put his head on one side, purse his lips and shake his head at least twice. The following show Robin'll be back to work with nothing worse than a bit of a limp.

On a tangent, didn't they listen to that Paul Weller song and realise it's not a positive romantic song. Hardly wedding ideal!!

Glen's right plonker isn't he.

StripySocksAndDocs · 26/03/2018 21:33

PaddingtonBearHardStare I just watched it. Robin hadn't barely started the turnabout: the van ploughed into her from behind. So think the accident occurred because she was stationery.

Not that it makes much difference!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 26/03/2018 22:21

Stripey my reply was to Purple saying that Robyn crashed because she was distracted by Glenn having a seizure but she had actually stopped

Saying that I thought it got her side on as I silently cheered

I am off to watch it again now too!!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 26/03/2018 22:23

Yep side on

Car had turned a bit - so you could be in luck!! (Not heard any rumours about Robin leaving though.) Though I feel in a court of law (especially a holby one) van driver is guilty.

Didn't quite get the story with the lady in the surgical mask. What was going on with her?

StripySocksAndDocs · 26/03/2018 22:30

I stand corrected!! Though it looks like the back of the car so you might not be pleased about that.

Quickerthanavicar · 26/03/2018 22:31

Bring back Toby

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 26/03/2018 22:41

They either both need to die or both live and fuck off into the sunset. I can't be doing with the surviving one mooning about for weeks saying their lives were just about to start his wasn't and what might have been

Can you tell I am not a fan of Glebyn? Robenn?

Makingworkwork · 27/03/2018 13:32

I have not watched the latest episodes yet but I can’t stand Glen and Robyn. Should I watch the episode or give it a miss?
