A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

I'm pretty sure Dylan must have been phoning that American woman Za Za. I'm getting really worried about Dylan now.

I thought it was a really good episode, not boring at all. But yes she does really annoy me now with how she's being with Ethan. Uggghh.

Was that surgeon tonight the same one that operated on Glenn? I thought she was but now I'm confused because the other one was American wasn't she.

Has she been told she’s going to die? I missed a few episodes

The neurosurgeon was played by Sharon Gless (Cagney and Lacey) - not the same actress as tonight’s surgeon, I am sure.

I guess you're right about Za Za, purple - I was a bit off-track wondering if it was Sam (his ex-wife).

Ethan probably recoiled because she had been coughing up blood half an hour earlier ... I'm not thinking she would have been of a minty fresh standard!

Zoe could make sense. She's supposed to turn up isn't she. So it might be because Dylan called her. (or if not because Connie's post needs a temp replacement while she returns to full health (three to four weeks?)

I thought Sam for some reason when I watched, but even then thought it odd. Surgeon Cagney is highly possible too.

Zoe would be a possibility cos she's coming back it'll either be Zoe or Za Za. I think Zoe went to America didn't she?

Dylan said on his phone call sorry for calling so late, or rather early. So he's calling a different time zone. And both of these are in America.

Ethan didn’t recoil at all. He very slightly kissed her back and then just said her name, and not in a “EWWWWW” way, just slightly questioning. I rewatched to check and he def didn’t pull back at all.

Dervla is Dylan's dog, @Kittymum03 - a gorgeous grey hairy lurcher who is by far the best character in Casualty at the moment.

I thought the episode was good up until Connie ran off from Ethan. I felt sorry for him when she wouldn’t let him in the room at the end.

I feel like it's just being beyond a joke now with her stupid attitude to people who are good

Soddit, I thought we were finally going to get rid of Connie. TV's most annoying character.

I've just caught up with the episode.

I'm assuming Connie is going to make a full recovery and who knows, maybe she will be a nicer person afterwards. I think she will fix things with Ethan, her pride is just hurt.

I also thought Dylan was phoning Zoe because they were quite good friends weren't they?

Holby is obviously a great place to work when you have a terminal illness. Jordan, Glen and Connie have all had miraculous recoveries. Ethan can definitely stop worrying about his Huntingdon's.
