A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

Did anyone else notice the posters in the bar where Glen was drinking in the flashbacks? They were advertising “Black Friday Bash” or something - on 24.11.2017. Poor continuity considering the flashback was supposed to have been a yr ago. Longer maybe as it wasn’t November weather in the clips. This kind of error REALLY annoys me.

I'm sorry, but Dylan just wouldn't go in for all this intrigue and deception would he? Can't remember if there's a diagnosis for his "quirkiness" but he's always appeared to be very literal and clearcut in his approach to everything (which doesn't always go down well with patients).

Glad I’ve found this, I’m on my 3rd episode back to back and finding Dylan’s secrets all a bit hard to take! It does seem out of character.

Loved Christine Cagney back in the day but ZhaZha is a bit too much - she is being awful to her assistant.

Yes it does seem a bit like they're trying to reinvent Dylan. It's a bit strange in a way. Yes I don't think it fits in with how he always was.

And I didn't really get the whole thing with that Zsa Zsa's assistant what was all that about?!

I was expecting him to turn out to be her husband but he was never explained at all!

Just watched this... even though it’s all a bit out of character for Dylan, I felt it was a really good episode

Casualty, all is forgiven!! This week's storyline can be as bizarre and out-of-character (Dylan) as it likes, because the endlessly wonderful Christine Cagney was in it. I watched it twice, back-to-back, just to see her again. I kept expecting her to pull out a gun and shout, 'Hold it right there!'. Sigh.

I always wanted to look like Sharon Gless when I was younger, and now I do.

Yup, that's about what I was thinking.

Please, dear Casualty writers, make this is a storyline that will run and run, however weird it might get, just keep Chris Cagney on our screens! Oh, and if possible, have her visit the boat so that we can have some Dervla appearances too. Presumably we'll get an explanation of that silent henchman sooner or later because I have no idea what it was about.

Isn't the back story that Dylan was in foster care as a child because his Dad couldn't cope?
We have no idea who Dylan's Mother is & what happened to her? (I think)
So that would tie in with Zsa Zsa possibly being Dylan's long lost Ma.
Sounds a bit far fetched but hey it's Casualty.
Btw anyone think Connie & Ethan will end up together?
I know Ethan is all soft & cuddly but he does have an inner core of steel.
I could really see it working as the characters life limiting illnesses could draw them together.

At least Dylan was true to type this evening. Max and Robyn are petty and unprofessional. Connie can only have put Ethan in charge to prove to everyone how effective she is in the role. Ethan is wetter than a wet thing in the wettest part of Wet Land. .

Do Ethan 'saves the day' by activating some sort of internal emergency protocol where the next shift comes in early? So who pays for this overtime? I'm sure Connie will be thrilled to come back to her budget messed up by an avoidable overtime bill!

I'd wish that they'd just cut to the chase & get Connie & Ethan together.

I suspect Holby has no HR department, due to the fact that no self-respecting HR trained person could cope with their bizarre employment practices and clear belief that normal rules about notice before leaving, recruitment practices etc simply don't apply there.

I love Casualty and have been watching it since I was young....which was a good while ago.

I don't remember disliking Glen previously but this time round he just drives me mad! I find him very annoying.

Connie and Ethan won't happen - I find the whole storyline/dynamic between them a little bit odd.

I love Dylan - I have a crush on him!

To be honest I was never that enamoured by the whole Robin and Glen thing. Didn't detest it but...

I don't think Connie and Ethan will get together - yes she's got the whole Scott thing on him, but I think he's just concerned about her and her illness rather than mooning after her in a romantic kind of way.

Thought tonight's episode was a bit bizarre to be honest...!

I only dip in and out of Casualty but watched it tonight. Would someone be good enough to tell me what's wrong with Connie please.
