A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

Connie is a control freak. This heart thing is out of her control. So if you can't control it, you ignore it.

Was there ever an explanation of why Sam's now a paramedic? Or is it just one of those job-swap things they like to do just to show that Casualty isn't supposed to bear any resemblance to real hospital life looking at you Louise.

I thought for one horrible moment that Dylan was being written out of the series. But a descent into alcoholism is now looking more likely. Or maybe he'll try legitimate adoption/fostering?

Mornington - Sam said something to Ian about how she’d been a whistle blower having seen some questionable actions at her previous hospital. I can’t remember exactly why she had to leave, it was to do with an Old Boys Club or all the other doctors being friends or something

Ian's treated Lily like shit for the last few weeks - hope she sticks to her guns though I'll miss the character.

Why do they ruin perfectly acceptable episodes with ridiculous little scenes like the one in the pub with the torches????

It’s a shame. I liked lily and Ian’s relationship. I liked how they built it up and how unlikely it was, rather than the usual consultant/porter things that are so unrealistic.

Just watching on catch up. Lilly should take the research project! Don't through it away for a bloke. If Ian really lived her he'd tell her to take it and be there for her when she got back.

I don't think Ian's the sort that will have a long distance relationship.

I think Lily made the decision in fitting with her character. So I think it did work well because of that.

I watched 5 episodes this weekend and I may not recover.

Re Zsa Zsa & Dylan. DD & I looked at each other when Zsa Zsa hugged Dylan, & we said she's his biological Mother (which he doesn't know about yet.)
