A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

God I'm just getting bored now! Dylan is my fav character but i am getting annoyed! I can't stick Sam. Hope she buggers off soon.

purpleme12 · 09/10/2017 23:34

I like Sam

Optimist1 · 14/10/2017 22:44

Tonight's programe = dire! I was willing Ethan to make a slip with the scalpel that would a) finish Connie off and b) make him give up doctoring. Sadly, neither happened. Sad

ineedamoreadultieradult · 14/10/2017 22:48

I was hoping it would all go wrong and Connie would get rushed off to have her arm amputated and Ethan would get arrested.

Solo · 14/10/2017 23:25

She's a bad patient isn't she! And I thought she was very underhanded blackmailing poor Ethan.

I was surprised to see Anita Dobson tonight! And thought it a bit Hmm with all the Queen music!

Ceto · 15/10/2017 01:16

This whole Connie/Ethan thing is utterly ludicrous. A classic example of jumping the shark if ever I saw one.

DubiousCredentials · 15/10/2017 08:43

I’m not sure I actually understand why Connie doesn’t want actual treatment?

JustDanceAddict · 15/10/2017 16:21

Connie - wtf? Can’t she just see a specialist like a normal person? Oh yeah, forgot she’s not normal.

ButtonMooooon · 15/10/2017 21:19

It’s a good job Anita Dobson character didn’t want resuscitating. Given that one Doctor was doing her driving test. One was operating on another and the last one in the department was learning how to play poker Hmm

DubiousCredentials · 16/10/2017 06:52

Grin Just your average day in A&E then Grin

Ceto · 16/10/2017 14:28

The Bill reached a point when it had so many cop deaths, so many psychopathic/criminal cops, and so many ludicrous storylines that it died the death. In Casualty we currently have :

  1. One doctor murdered
  2. One who has at best committed manslaughter
  3. One who has a potentially fatal condition which is also affecting her ability to work, but for reasons they've never bothered to explain she won't even get a blood clot in her arm treated properly, let alone treatment for the underlying condition. And she's also prepared to blackmail doctor no. 2, into operating on her in massive breach of his professional duties and under local anaesthetic despite his having inadequate experience in that type of operation.
  4. One doctor who has an illegal immigrant staying with him.
  5. A nurse who is covering up what doctor no. 4 is doing.
  6. A qualified doctor working as a paramedic for no valid reason.

And I've probably left out a few. They need to sack the scriptwriters and tell them that sensationalist storylines are totally unnecessary, before the programme collapses into a hole like The Bill did.

Solo · 16/10/2017 23:20

Well put Ceto, well put!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/10/2017 21:20

Finally caught up

Why did Sanosi not stay win his uncle. What happened

And how the hell did he sneak him to uk. Just hid him in the boot/back of car?

Solo · 18/10/2017 01:43

Sanosi's uncle had just returned from abroad but, had swallowed a load of drugs and ended up in hospital and then...jail! Sanosi hid under a tarp in the back of the vehicle; almost got caught but, instead the authorities found another person under their vehicle which took the attention from inside.

Well, I think I remembered it right.

frazzled3ds · 21/10/2017 22:00

Can’t see Dylan taking too kindly to Louise doing what she has, but then if it brings the increasingly farcical storyline to a close, maybe it’s for the best!

campingismyjam17 · 21/10/2017 22:08

When we went through Calais recently, they stopped us in our camper van and made us get everything out of the back so they could look under the seats !

ineedamoreadultieradult · 21/10/2017 22:25

I really hope Louise gets Sanosi to go to wherever it is you go to claim asylum. As an unaccompanied minor he will be looked after. But the way this program is going I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up taking him in!

purpleme12 · 22/10/2017 00:59

Wow that was a dramatic episode!

Solo · 22/10/2017 01:02

Shock Wow! Shock

Crikey! Poor Dylan.... he’s done the right thing, but still.... hope he doesn’t go and do anything stupid whilst grieving over it all.

Connie is irritating even more than usual, guess we’re heading for a sudden collapse in A&E or something similarly dramatic.

Connie's refusal to accept and confront her diagnosis is so totally at odds with her career - can anyone suggest why she's being so dozy?

purpleme12 · 28/10/2017 23:24

God that was heartwrenching
