A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

I had a feeling of déjà vu with the older lesbian couple. Is it just me or do Casualty do older gay couples quite often?

Connie was taking a heart trace, wasn't she? I don't see how that would tie in with being pregnant.

This is the trailer for next week's episode. Seems that there is something wrong with Connie and she wants Ethan to diagnose. I wonder if it could be the start of a Connie & Ethan romance

Does anyone know if that's a heart X Ray Ethan is looking at in that clip? I assume Echo is echocardiogram? Why might they need a tissue sample?

Well! I stopped watching when Sam was in it before, so I didn't know she'd remarried or had a fling with Ian.

I don't think it's pregnancy with Connie, and yes, that's a heart scan. Her blood pressure was way too low!

I feel sorry for Connie, won't comment on what she has in case others haven't watched yet. Didn't used to like Elle but she is growing on me. Still hate Charlie and Duffy. Dylan needs to be in it more.

Dylan needs to come up with a plan for Sanosi. I can't believe his plan so far extends to just buying him computer games. It's very un-Dylan like.

Sadly I doubt that Connie will die. She'll collapse in A&E, Dylan will be inconsiderate enough to save her life, the tumour will turn out to be benign, someone from Holby will do brilliant heart surgery, and she'll be back teetering around in those ridiculous heels within a couple of weeks.

Connie is so horrible that it ' please, just die' - no suspense. She is a terrible manager, promotes via sex, bloody awful parent ( grace has been taught to be mini me), nothing is ever her fault, moody and unprofessional.

Visual joke too with the awful clothes, ghastly shoes and stupid haircut.

Characters need some good qualities and she has none.

Does anyone know if it is anything that a heart transplant would help with?

I can just imagine the scene...
Someone on death's door comes into the ED, holds a donor card but family have to be convinced to donate the organs. They manage to convince the family member, Connie receives heart.

That should take, what, at least 3 episodes?

I think its leading up to Sam’s return, he’ll perform a little known procedure on Connie he just happened to have seen when he fucked off without telling anyone went back to the States

Or maybe Elliot Hope will pop back to save her!

It’s all getting a wee bit tedious now isn’t it..... the Sanosi/Dylan/David storyline is bordering on farcical, and given how tactful (ahem) Louise can be, I suspect it’s going to blow up somehow.

As for Connie ... please don’t let it drag on and on......!! How Ethan hasn’t quite twigged it’s her I don’t know, reckon she’s going to hit the deck in the middle of the ED at some point and all will be revealed.

On a complete tangent, I’d love to learn BSL - must do something about that!

They need to sort out this Sanosi situation soon because I love Dylan but I'm finding his scenes a bit boring now.

Ethan is being a bit dim about the whole heart patient thing and how Connie thinks dying from her heart problem is better than having the surgery and only possibly dying from it I don't know!

Sanosi is incredibly irritating

Things that need to happen soon :

A hitherto-unmentioned relative appears to claim Sanosi and whisk him away
Connie decides that going to New York to spend her remaining time with Grace would be the best course of action
Ethan finds his glasses

My money is on Connie and Ethan having a night of passion.
Saturday nights episode was a classic night fir 'Casualty Bingo'...
