A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

Ethan getting more obsessive about Scott, Dylan trying to find a girlfriend for David, Connie ordering Sam around now he's a minion, Connie took Grace to physio and Grace said she could do it again, meanwhile Sam lied to say she'd authorised him to get some unlicensed drug which he used to save a patient's life, they had a row and he ended up kissing her. Sam seems to have had a total personality transplant since becoming a registrar overnight.

Re the wedding in the hospital - anyone else wondering what they did for a licence? Or do hospitals have some sort of dispensation?

I'm not sure about special dispensation, Ceto, but that seems to be the case. I had thought the bride was not just sick but definitely having second thoughts about marrying such a controlling man; when Charlie decided they should be married in the ED I was furious!

I am predicting the scriptwriters will conveniently remember about Sam's girlfriend soon to throw a spanner in the works

Optimist1 I thought the same! Didn't she say he had chosen her dress?! I really thought they were gearing up for her to leave and then suddenly they were happily married. Weird.

Yes Yaela, I did notice that. It looked like a five year old had done it for her.
Jacob still annoys me terribly. He had the nerve to make remarks to Sam about 'we treat who comes in, deal with it' or words to that effect, yet he very rarely does a stroke of work! All he does is strut around and smirk. I was trying to think who he reminded me of from the back and I realised it was this fella.

I was in Cardiff Bay earlier, killing time with DS before our film started. There was some sort of food festival going on so it was really crowded. I went for a gap in the crowds at the same time as someone else, dropped back to let him go through ahead of me and then realised it was Ethan! He was carrying the most gorgeous little baby boy in a sling on his chest and had an adorable little blond toddler as well. I didn't day anything to him because I didn't want to harass him when he was with his family. He's tiny - much smaller than he looks on screen!
