Heard that Nastase isn't invited to the royal box at Wimbledon this year. wonder if he'll turn up at all?

When is the French open? This month isn't it? or early June? I have brain fog today.

RG is May 28th (starts on a Sunday usually), until June 11. I know it always coincides with the dcs Whit holiday (and Rafa's birthday is June 3rd).

DD1's year 6 residential is to France- but the the week before, 20th-26th, and in Normandy. If she'd been anywhere near Paris the week after, I might have volunteered to help .

the tie break ten event was brilliant! really enjoyed it. didn't see every single minute of it as I had other things to do, but caught most of it.

Noticed Sharapova sitting and chatting friendily (is that a word?) with her ex Dimitrov. wonder what Nicole shitslinger made of that!

BTW that advert for the Muller greek yoghurt thing that the naked guys posing for a statue.....I did a double take first time I saw that, the nude guy looks like Dimitrov!! . .

magi I saw this yesterday and did wonder what was going on. He seems to be going through some kind of pre-30 crisis. It definitely seemed to start post RG- I don't think he got the adulation he expected by winning it. He had been so fixated on winning it for so long- and then, nothing.

I do wonder if his heart is in it though. Becker certainly seemed to think it wasn't, which sounded like sour grapes when they let him go, but maybe he had a point

Sir Andy said that Djokovic sacking everyone should be viewed positively. I'm sure it's a positive thing for all the other players alright!

Rafa's rubbish draw continues- he is the 4th seed after all- he faces stroppy Nick Kyrgios next. I hope Nick sabotages himself, he is good at that.

Poor David Ferrer is no longer the player he once was. I don't think I've had chance to see him okay at all over the last year.

Ferrer looks very drawn. Loads of Japanese people there to support Nishikori today.

Thanks Raahh. DS was off school a couple of days with it and now he's gone back but given it to me. My dog is also flat out! He's in DS's bad books because he chewed up his shin-guards this morning. Oh dear. Might teach him not to leave his gear lying around

We have a constant battle with dd1 over her moving her football stuff. It would serve her right if the dog ate it.

Raonic has lost to Goffin, which is a bit of a mini upset. But only a mini one, because Milos has been out for a while and Goffin has been playing well. I like Milos though.

And Murray is out. Maybe he shouldn't have been so quick to get excited about Djok sacking his team.
