Well, Delpo's run has come to an end, which is a shame, but I'm pleased for Milos. Good to see him keeping up the momentum.

Raahh · 26/02/2017 22:08

seems Raonic's own run came to an end, beaten by Jack Sock.

He still has one of the best names Grin .

MrsVamos · 27/02/2017 20:14

Raahh

Bless you, keeping the thread going. Thanks

I do manage occasionally to pop by, I'm hoping things will improve for May. Hmm

Lots of love to all.

I think between this and the Doctors thread Raahh's well practiced at keeping threads going by herself. Grin

Raahh · 27/02/2017 20:22

I do tryGrin

( talking to myself is what I do best. I like to pretend I'm talking to the dog, but he mostly ignores me).

Grin

I need to catch up on the tennis somehow and then stay caught up.

magimedi · 27/02/2017 22:25

I hope I am not stretching the boundaries here, but our lovely JuanPotatoTwo has lost her DH today -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/2865677-My-Dh-died-this-morning-and-I-dont-know-how-to-go-on?msgid=67272453

I hope I am right in thinking that you would all want to know & maybe send her a message?

I have met her - she is the loveliest person you could ever hope to meet & I am so sad as I head to bed tonight.

magimedi · 27/02/2017 22:28

The thread has been moved to relationships:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/relationships/2865677-My-Dh-died-this-morning-and-I-dont-know-how-to-go-on?msgid=67272694

I am going to bed with great sadness.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 27/02/2017 22:34

I don't think you are stretching the boundaries at all, magi.

DramaAlpaca · 27/02/2017 22:52

magi thanks for posting on here.

I was stunned to hear this when I logged on this evening. I knew her DH was unwell, but didn't expect to hear this. It's just so sad, and bloody unfair.

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Juan but she's always been so lovely on here & I consider her a friend I've never met. My DC and her eldest three are around the same age, in fact her DD and my DS2 share the same date of birth so both turned 22 last week.

My heart goes out to them all.

JaneJeffer · 04/03/2017 01:03

I haven't been on here for a while. Keep losing this thread somehow. I'm feeling a lot better now Raahh thanks!

So sad about Juan's DH. She is being so brave.

I've just put Rafa/Cilic on but it's so late I better head to bed soon.

DramaAlpaca · 04/03/2017 01:06

Hi Jane I'm still up too and thanks to your post I'm now watching Rafa/Cilic Smile

JaneJeffer · 04/03/2017 01:07

I'm glad I'm not the only night owl Smile

DramaAlpaca · 04/03/2017 01:09

I like being up late, it's the only time I get the house to myself for a bit of peace & quiet Grin

JaneJeffer · 04/03/2017 01:12

Me too Drama but I always regret it in the morning! Rafa's going good so far.

JaneJeffer · 04/03/2017 02:25

Well so much for going to bed! Well done Rafa. I'm definitely off this time...

Raahh · 04/03/2017 08:59

I've had a funny old week, but have been following the tennis, and am thrilled for Rafa. Just Querrey to get past now.

I keep thinking about Juan and I hope she knows we are here for her when she just needs some chat about nothing in particular. Must be so hard. Flowers

Raahh · 05/03/2017 08:17
Sad Querrey beat Rafa.
Raahh · 05/03/2017 11:05

Rafa, as ever, way more gracious in defeat than Djok. Did anyone see his 12 word press conference? Very odd.

Murray won in Dubai- but the competition wasn't quite as as stiff over there in the end, though Verdasco is never one to dismiss lightly. Still, he will be relieved to be doing better, especially coming off illness.

Looking forward to the next few weeks!

JaneJeffer · 06/03/2017 21:41

Hi Raahh I didn't see the final as it was on too late even for me Smile I had a look at that interview on YouTube. Djok looked like he was raging, very snappy. I think he's losing it altogether now! Maybe he should take a bit of time off and get his act together.

Raahh · 10/03/2017 09:22

Indian Wells takes so long to get going.

Rafa has a terrible draw.

Murray basically has to turn up and even he has admitted he has an easy half.
I wonder what is going through Djok's mind- It was at IW where he did the press conference about women and equal pay that caused a bit of a back lash. He was responding to the tournament directors comments, but I think he got a bit sidetracked, really.

I think that might be where his year started to unravel a bit , mentally. It was also around that time he was spotted with the Bollywood actress, and rumours of affairs were flying around.

And Shrieky admitted the drugs thing. It all happened around about now, didn't it?

Raonic out, presumably injured.

Raahh · 12/03/2017 10:18

Murray lost to Pospisil, and given he had a draw that basically gave him the tournament on a plate, that is a really bad loss.

Mama1980 · 12/03/2017 11:18

Found you all, haven't been in here for ages real life got in the way.
I'm Looking forward to the clay season.
Unexpected result for Murray last night, pleased for popsy though he looked so pleased.

JaneJeffer · 12/03/2017 13:30

Fognini did well to regain his concentration and beat Tsonga; I'm sure he has ADD. Whoever was doing the commentary needs to learn that it's not Tonga!
