It has turned into quite a match really. I'd like either of them to win.

I feel sorry for Marin, but great win for Fele.

Watched on iPlayer a bit later. Lovely Cilic chatting to the girl leading him out, lovely smile and so friendly just before huge match.

IPlayer then skipped to beg of 2nd set for some reason so I was very glad there was a third. What a match!

Amazing 80% of first serves and some stunning shots from both. Would have liked either to win but very glad for Lopez when he said he's been hoping to win for 15 years!

I really enjoyed that match, so pleased for Lopez finally winning it. That final set tiebreak was quite a nail biter.

Currently watching the doubles on Eurosport, it's nice to see some doubles coverage.

I see Federer picked up his 11th Halle title.

I think Roger has only (!) won it 9 times. He's been in 11 finals though.

It was a good final. Another one sided Murray final would have been very dull indeed (although last year's wasn't really dull, and Milos ought to have won it). Sue and her mates were still harping on about the lack of 'big' names to the bitter end, though. Which is a bit unfair- and the Halle final had the big names, and was over in a flash.

Both Cilic and Lopez gave lovely speeches, and it was great to see how much it meant to him. And of course Lopez knew how it felt to blow it on championship point, having done it against Dimitrov.

Will be interesting to see how Djok does at Eastbourne. And the Beeb are showing the Wimbledon qualifiying on the red button too. With Marcus Willis, again, apparently.

I expect the Eastbourne organisers are delighted to have Djok there. I find myself hoping he does well there, for some strange reason.

I won't be able to see any Wimbledon qualifying, stupid red button doesn't work here anymore.

Delighted for Lopez. I had visitors so I missed the presentation.

Drama it's so annoying having no red button! What will we do for Wimbledon?!

Actually, I can never get red button to work either, I can only ever watch when I find it on a 'proper' channel, like Virgin 991 or something.

I think it would be a good time for Djok to find some form. I would love Rafa to do well at Wimbledon, but I know it is a big ask, but with a a decent draw he might be lucky.

Wimbledon weight their seedings based on grass performance, so annoyingly Rafa probably won't be seeded 2. Which would have been a big help.

well, I saw up to it looking like Cilic would win it in the second set, then all the family turned up early ......ah well, missed all the good stuff

I had a minor revelation last year or maybe year before that, when I realised all the red button Wimbledon stuff was on the 991+ channels in Virgin. So much easier to switch channels than go into iPlayer each time which is a bit of a faff.

Has anyone got tickets for Wimbledon? DD and I got tickets to the middle Sunday last year and saw a few great matches including Lopez.

looks like Eastbourne is having better weather than here- not stopped raining for 2 days. I've hardly seen any tennis, but there is such a lot of stuff going on at the dcs' schools at the moment.

We've had rain too and the Wimbledon qualifiers got rained off yesterday but Eastbourne looks lovely. Last day of school here, yippee!
