Every time I caught a bit of tennis today there was ructions going on.

First Fognini.

Then Djok swearing at the umpire over the amount of time Bautista-Agut was taking between points.

DelPotro had a run-in with the umpire over a call and wasn't happy and the next time the umpire got down to check and it went DelPotro's way he spread his arms out towards him for a hug, which of course he didn't get

At the end of Deliciano's doubles match there was another disagreement whether the ball was in or out and Fele took out his phone and took a photo of the mark!

Eek! Nadal has lost the first set to Them. Vamos Rafa!!

Argh! Rafa's run has come to an end.

But it does mean that Delpo can now go on to to win, so all is not lost.

Winning would have been great for Rafa though, as it would have moved him up to 3rd in the rankings going into RG.

Poor Rafa Thiem is a good player and getting better all the time

I think Thiem, Goffin and Zverev are currently the on-form young players (though Goffin is not as 'young' i suppose, Raonic is not much older). I like that they are consistent. Raonic isn't doing so well at the moment. It's a shame really, last year he came up against Murray all the time, and this has been thwarted by injury.

Delpo match not going to plan- hopefully the rain delay will see him come out with new determination.

Roger and Mirka are at Pippa Middleton's wedding.

He was at the Met Ball in New York the other week in a rather garish get up. I think Roger is enjoying a semi-retired celeb lifestyle. Turning up to events when he wants, and living it up the rest of the time

It's absolutely bucketing down here, so i hope they are having better luck with the weather!

I'm not a big fan of weddings IRL but I love Royal (or Royal by association) ones.

delPotro has been beaten by Djokovich. Zverev/Isner will be a battle.

I'm glad Zverev won. Hopefully Djok will be tired and Them will beat him later.

I'm hoping the crowd will be all Zverev supporters- after all, it is a tournament that has named one of its course the Next Gen arena

And he beat Rafa on his birthday at RG, so I've never given for that.

I really want Rafa to well at RG, winning it would be awesome, but I am really glad that the younger players are really coming good this season.
