His autobiography certainly read like he really never enjoyed playing, magi. And I doubt he's doing it for the money, so it seems like a strange thing to suddenly want to be back in the limelight. But Agassi, wigs, drugs and all, has always been quite well liked- maybe Djok is hoping some of that love will rub off on him Grin

I hope Delpo has a better second half to the year- he was doing so well last year, and then it all seemed to stall again. Sad

Much as I am glad to see Zverev/Thiem etc doing well, I would LOVE for Juan to win another GS, because his one title looks like a fluke- and he's a way better player than that. Bloody injuries.

The draw for RG is out, Rafa scheduled to meet Djok in the semi's. Murray's path seems easier- but he hasn't had a great season, so he will need to play a lot better than he has.

And I am looking forward to DD1 coming home from France this afternoon .It has been a long week here in Manchester in many ways.

Yy, Drama it has been a very sad week. My sister was at the Arena last Saturday night for the take that concert, along with many other people I know. So when I saw the news on Monday, it felt far too close. It's somewhere I've been , that I know so well. Horrific.
ironically, there are DC in my daughter's class who didn't go on her year 6 trip to France this week , because the parents were nervous about incidents that that had happened there.

She's a bit late back, bank holiday traffic and all that. I will be so glad to see her.

I have had to come out shopping. I am not happy about the scheduling at RG, which has Djok and Rafa probably on at the same time. The TV will be compelled to show Djok( as defending champion). Fabrice yesterday was not impressed either.

Vamos Rafa anyway- Paire is not an easy first round on his home turf, and Rafa often starts off nervously.

Saw the Djok match & the end of the Rafa match. Rafa played so much better than Djok. And he seems to have massively speeded up between points.

I've just read that apparently Agassi won't be around for the whole tournament, due to having a prior commitment. Makes his addition to the Djok team even odder, really.

It's all going on in the Brady/Mladenovic match.

Ferrer involved in a marathon match. I feel quite sad that I haven't seen him play over the past year, at all. And Inverdale has just said he's on court 17, There are are no cameras there, so what might be one of his last matches at RG, and it isn't even on camera. Sad

Verdasco is a dangerous opponent to face in the first round, not far outside the seedings. This match will depend on whether Mischa has the stamina over 5 sets- Verdasco has proved often that he has.

Just got to watch half of the Schiavone/Muguruza match yesterday. Schiavone gave it her all. Sad that it's probably her last time at RG but she said she might be back next year.

I find the ITV commentary so boring.
