Discuss they really swear that much in the 1800's? I'm sure it was common amongst the sailors etc but the well to do blokes from the East India company are quite happy to throw a few swears about as well.

It was just that scene where he walked down the church aisle, I think the people in the pews were on platforms so he looked like a little boy in the middle!

That boy was his half brother, I think full brother to Delaney's half sister. I'm guessing the mother has died and the father didn't want to have him around.
