I thing the same thing Re Giovanni. He thinks he's Gods gift. She was on a yacht with Leo Di Caprio and then went out with Richard Madden for a bit so I think she is way out of his league. She seems like she has bigger ambitions than to be having a fling with her Strictly partner! He might think differently though...

I agree MrsJayy - I may have a differing 'radar' but he strikes me, at least, as someone who looks like he is keen-to-please and wants to be a 'good boy' but is essentially dishonest and slimey.
Though I know he talks highly of me.

Yes, at the start I would have said that Laura wouldn't have found someone like Giovanni at all attractive. She strikes me as someone who chooses her relationships to be, umm, useful to her. But I think the enforced togetherness and reliance of the celeb on the pro can change things temporarily. Not to mention the constant physical closeness.

Yeah! Those were my first thoughts - why is he going hell for leather with his bounce, kicks and flicks - making her efforts look pretty feeble.

I thought Anastacia really upped her kicks and flicks in the dance off but her Jive had too many of them and not much else. Found the choreography rather boring.

Daisy also upped her dance but why didn't she do it that way before?

Agree with Pasha's cuteness and I lke the way he does not put his partner in the shade and show off too much.

Gives me the impression he choreoed too hard for Ana but did not dawn til too late?
I liked his routine: if he had been paired height wise with Laura (without injury obv) she would have made it look good.
As it is, he either dumbs down and gets told he is a crap pro or he dances it well and gets told he showed her up.
Damned either way.

I know I will be in the minority re theme weeks but seeing as this is the first time I can ever recall Strictly falling on fifth November is it too much to want fiery numbers?!

D'oh Light my fire was the doors. I'm on fire is Springsteen. Do like Burnin' love, one of my favourites due to being subjected to Lilo and Stitch and The Game plan once a week.

Well if Kevin managed to choreograph a charleston to Crazy Right Now, then I bet he could get a tango or a paso out of Firestarter. It would be horrible, but doable.

I don't think the Pros choreograph the Salsa, Argentine Tango or Charleston by themselves, they're not dances that they are very familiar with (not being part of the standard "10 Dances" that most of them have trained in).

They have specialist advisors/choreographers on hand to help.

I'm still very much hoping that Ed doesn't make it as far as a rumba Soup, but if he does then it makes no damn difference what song he dances it to, so Firestarter would be as good as any.

I feel the same. The only couple I've got left to root for are Greg and Natalie because I like Natalie. I haven't yet worked out which of the remaining women 'celebrities' is which - apart from Claudia they're now an undifferentiated mass for me. Ore's irritating with the crying, and Ed Balls is just an embarrassment. So it's all gone rather flat as far as I'm concerned. Maybe next Saturday's fire tunes (oh yes!) will re-ignite my interest in the whole thing.

Re:Giovanni. I've never been able to take to him, he's a right smarmy git IMO. He's not all that good looking either, Alijaz and Gorka are both much hotter.
