I doubt Kevin will win this year as I don't think Louise will prove that popular with the voting public, I suspect the Judges will try to keep them high enough up the Leaderboard for as long as possible though.

I too think Ore has peaked his last couple of dances haven't been that great and his weeping and other antics are becoming irritating and are likely to put off the public.

Danny is my favourite; I love watching him dance. But I don't want him to win because of his past training; I just want him to get to the final so I can see lots of his dances.

At this point I'd like either Claudia or Daisy to win, though I think Daisy probably won't get that far because she doesn't have the support. Wouldn't mind Rob Rinder winning either, especially if he can learn to control his face. His dance last night was excellent.

Agree re Ore being irritating now. Maybe I'll like him again if he gets a grip.

This one could be close, but based purely on judges previous comments I'd guess Laura's going home.

What is it with the producer's using music that is too fast for a Samba, for dancers at this level. If you look at the recommended BPM (beats per minute) for international competition, Samba is 48-52, only marginally faster than a Jive or Quickstep.

To put that into perspective, this piece of Samba music is 51 bpm. Laura's was a lot faster.

Laura is a bit too "Look at me dancing" and Joe gets on my wick so I'd be for Ore, even if he is on the earnest side.

Laura has very little hip action, it's particularly noticeable on her voltas and botafogos.

Are we on the wrong thread? Am distracted by West Wing/election threads.

I actually thought Laura didn't seem all that confident in herself and I felt a bit sorry for her as she wasn't very popular with the public. I thought she seemed really sweet when she gave her leaving speech.

I just looked it up, Bamboleo has a bpm of 119, so almost DOUBLE the International standard recommendations . It's not fair to ask a novice to dance at that speed, heck I wouldn't want to dance it at that speed!
