oh thank you, thank you for your wishes for me and Aliona being pregnant! All well received.
.
It was a bit tricky a few weeks ago when Kimmy asked if she would be doing DWTS and I was suitably vague in response, as we hadn't decided exactly when or how we'd announce our 8th child! I was bursting to tell you! It was all very hectic and the older ones had sort of worked things out, the scamps.
Our main concern was to preserve our anonymity locally - we live, as you know, in a small Pennine village where gossip travels fast. We've used 'Vinny' for a while as a sort of media 'beard' to cover tracks and protect the little ones from media interest. The school have been fab in that. We pay Vinny's agent a fair amount to do certain roles, and be prepared to be misrepresented personally. This does include photo-shopping of images, but he is well recompensed. The vaselined photo yesterday was Vinny's agent's idea which we were uncomfortable with but we had parents evening occupying us so we let it go. Sorry about that.
We thought we had been rumbled by the Ocado delivery man last week, who was looking at A. in a funny way. But she was wearing a head scarf, boiler suit and knee pads, as she was just on the roof doing a bit of guttering ( I have no head for heights) when he called. We thought a drainage problem was causing damp in The Twins attic room. But all was well in the end.
And A. wishes to extend a warm welcome and 'hello' to everyone on the thread!
She does though have a special message to those who 'cringe' at our statement that 'we are pregnant'....
"Yo kan go faaark yo-selvffs."
Now A, isn't usually given over to intemperate language. And I've tried to sort of translate/transliterate from her original Kazakh. But I am sure I have managed to convey the sentiment with all it's meaning.
