although slightly enjoyed the family dynamics going on last night, unfortunately DD's favourite programme and in fact Guardian seems to recommend it^

40,000 posts, fireside wrestling contests, fan-fiction, autograph requests, carol concerts, CJ Grand Tours later we are about to watch the last episode of series 2. And that first post is a distant memory.

Was chairing a meeting earlier today and nearly had to come out as I was stifling a laugh. A particular incident with one of our clients was explained and the final comment was '..and it's been escalated to critical'. Visions of Elvis in his black uniform sprang to mind. May I point out that it wasn't terrorist related and quite mundane in the grand scheme of things, not critical in my view! Amusing though!

I agree Rhu. Have read loads of books which the critics applaud only to find they're rubbish!

Just imagine having Elvis and the 'boys' ready to spring into action whenever the word 'critical' was mentioned. Sounds like something from woofy's hilarious story. Ilove I can see the boys bursting into your meeting room and you uttering in a fierce whisper behind your hand "Not now Elvis!" hastily adding in a seductive undertone "But later will be fine...!"

TG is teasing us? Hopefully he'll get Dr Bland and Elvis together so Georgie can console herself on another tour with CJ...

Now that would be a turn up for the books dance and lend a different perspective to the situation - no wonder Dr Jamie seemed annoyed that something might have happened between Elvis and Georgie in Kenya! Mind you, that would be one terribly unlucky woman to get jilted twice and have Elvis responsible on both occasions - oh strike me down for the mere suggestion!

Oh and she can go on tour with CJ anytime she likes if it means we get to see more of him but she'd better keep her mitts off him ...he's Molly's!!

I was the only woman in that meeting as well Rhu. That would have set tongues wagging. What a lovely thought having Elvis burst in there!

I was watching episode 1 last night after neglecting it for about three weeks when more interesting episodes came along and something struck me during a conversation between Nafula and Georgie, when Georgie talks about being engaged and Nafula says she'll probably end up at the charity all her life. Nafula says "Life is about sacrifice" and George replies, "but it shouldn't be about regret!". It seemed to me that the conversation between Elvis and Georgie on the balcony was also about sacrifice and clearly Elvis regrets it. The question is what exactly will Georgie regret most if she carries on with the path she appears to have chosen...

I hope your colleague pronounced "escalated" correctly ilove unlike a certain captain who mangled it a few episodes ago!

Looking forward to tonight and being able to watch without fearing the outcome, unlike last series!

I don't think I've been this excited about watching anything in ages! I hope it doesn't disappoint and surely they can't kill CJ off, how can there be another series without him?!

First two days back at work went well, feels like I've never been away, but seeing as I work in nursery it hasn't been a case of going back to work for a rest.

We were having a chat in the staff room at lunch time and it turns out that a few of them were watching OG, so we were discussing our theories over what the last episode holds. Seemed strange discussing it with people in real life!

I do prefer Elvis to Georgie's fiance. I keep thinking of Luke (what's his surname) when he was in The Musketeers and I loved the leather on him then....

Hmmm. Well I thought Georgie might have ended up with Elvis there at the end. But no Molly even for a minute. I'm sure I read somewhere she'd done a bit of filming....

CJ has certainly been a lower profile this series. Looks very good in a suit though, anyone else think so? Shame we didn't see more of him.
