Went to visit my friend this morning to make sure she's ok and to find out how her husband is. He's had two stents inserted and is probably going to have to have a bypass in the very near future.

Kezia the optimist in me says "Yes, I hope so," and the good response and interest would make it worthwhile creating the opening for another series with all involved by editing appropriately before broadcast but the realist thinks its unlikely and what will be will be. Don't get me started on 'Home Fires' again. Even though I obviously didn't enjoy it on the same scale as OG, it was just reasonable Sunday evening fare, I was irrationally incensed by the way it was broadcast with a cliffhanger ending and then..cancelled! And it was another female-led drama.

I love was thinking maybe based on popularity of programme for alternative endings, or maybe we get left with cliffhanger...... hope not.

There was a big petition of over 30,000 signatures I think but it doesn't look like it made any difference to ITV. I think there were hopes that a different broadcaster might be persuaded to commission it as it was popular and other shows have crossed channels. Obviously ITV think we need more X-Factor, The Voice and Britain's Got Talent.

Can I put forward my own suggestion for an alternative ending? Elvis realises he's attracted to a more mature woman with an ample cleavage and extra large, well-used, somewhat hanging drainpipe, who is willing to share her copious selection of brown woolly neck scarves, and promptly leaves Georgie with Doctor Yawn. CJ decides he rather likes the sound of a woman with a well stocked wardrobe of brown clothing and joins his best friend to set up a ménage a trois on the outskirts of Windsor. And they all live happily ever after. The end.

Mostly about how great it was, how good MK was, how it personalises the British Army, and is based around what they do, and that TG hoped for another series but it was down to the BBC, and that he appreciates all the social media hype, FB, Twitter.... and then he hesitated, pretty sure he was going to say MN, but thought better of admitting it

Watching SCD at the moment but not commenting apart from the fact that the Spanish chap has drawn the short straw this week for the worst costume!

I'm a bit behind on SCD as I've been trying to take it easy this afternoon (not something that comes easily to me but am just ridiculously tired and have been all week) so therefore decided to watch last night's tribute to Terry Wogan. Just about to start on SCD but at least I can flick over the daft Tess/Claudia waffle. Ahem, probably need to confess I've watched episode 4 of OG again and again but maybe fastforwarded over some bits and rewound on some others!
