although slightly enjoyed the family dynamics going on last night, unfortunately DD's favourite programme and in fact Guardian seems to recommend it^

Unfortunately skipping SCD this year. Missed half of it last year and didn't have a clue what was going on so though I would give it a miss this time round. Struggling to keep up to date with TV at the mo, just watching gbbo and still got poldark from last week.

Not sure if it's tiredness or what, but I fell asleep during SCD. I just struggle to get into it this year. I don't know who most of them are and that definitely isn't helping.

NVM have two friends in their eighties who thoroughly enjoyed series 1, one ex WAAF who married an officer and felt an affinity with Molly, the other ex WRAC neither of them enamoured with s2. They've watched first 2 episodes only so I don't get to chat with them, one did say if I bought DVD would come over and watch with me . The first series we watched DVD together too numerous to mention.

On our way home from our road trip to Manchester. University tour on Saturday for DS, and then a meet up with ilove and ice while the boys watch football, curtesy of ilove "ticket tout" skills!! Not sure what the restaurant staff though of our constant loud laughing and chatting!!

Now the 5hr journey home..(the wine at lunch will help me sleep in the car!)

Had a little shopping trip after our long lunch (wine for them, fruit juice for me) and spotted this. All the long serving posters on here will recognise the significance of the stags!

I love that looks smart . Was in D....lm shop last week they had rather gorgeous stag cushions couldn't resist, looks good on my bed, cats approve!

Not sure I'll make it to poldark. Absolutely knackered after work, after 2 weeks off.... Needed to go back, my trousers were feeling a tad tight. Definately eaten too many biscuits

We really had a lovely time. What tickled me most of all is that the restaurant where we ate is apparently quite popular with the BBC media types and since we were talking somewhat excitedly about everything Our Girl and dropping in the names of various actors, plus ice giving me an autographed photo of Ben, I reckon they thought we were probably from the world of television as well!

I've not even tried to find out if people other than on here have been watching OG this time. I tried last year and drew a blank nearly every time so have decided this time it is just my secret guilty pleasure!

I've half my office watching it, day after screening I went into work extremely tired but like this so explained where I'd been day before. All said, oh I'll watch it. Although none have as yet confessed to being obsessed

I wanted to tell you I got the autograph but knew I had to keep it a secret. I'm going to (once I get the missing one) get a frame and put them all in

It was a lovely surprise because I'd totally forgotten all about it!

Just listening to Chris Evans and he's playing The Boys Are Back in Town and I'm thinking of when Elvis and his team drop down by helicopter and CJ's face when he sees them.

Work again today. Bit of an anti climax after such a lovely day yesterday.
