It is that time of the year when we get to enjoy watching a bunch of incompetent baffoons try an impress Lord Suranal, whilst we laugh and mock them from our sofa's.

I am reading all of their quotes in this morning's Metro and I already want to slap each and every one of them.

Karren has clearly been told to make a few pointed comments for the feature on You're Fired. I think she's pretty spot on with her assessment of candidates.

What is the thing with Courtney?

Rhodd asked Paul what he thought of Courtney and he answered "I think he's just floating". Then the convo moved on.

Isn't You're Fired filmed directly after the firing so no one would know at that stage who's going to win surely....

If Courtney wins I'll eat my hat. He's useless. It's more believable that he's the next one fired!

I can't believe that Suralan passed up the opportunity to give one of the teams a brewery as the location for their event, and the chance to tell one of the teams they couldn't organise a piss up......

Elspeth - I agree with you about Courtney - he is about as much use as a chocolate teapot, with the charisma of bellybutton fluff (what Terry Pratchett called charisn'tma).

They're all crap really. I don't think I'd want any of them in my team.

Forgot to add: I know someone who works at a place where the previous Apprentice series was filmed for an episode. She said that all of the candidates were strutting around and bossing people around, even when the cameras were off. On the other hand, both Karen and Claude were very polite and modest, all they requested was water!

My DD bought food off them last year, they were outside her work, she said they were quite funny (whatever that means )

I was surprised at the "back talk" to LS. Seems to me the first rule of attempting to get a business investment is not to do this with the potential investor.

And the public row reminded me of that very cringing moment a few series ago where the PM at a pitch was talking in front of the customer about whether they could fulfil the order, and saying things like "we are not supermen".

Only just watched. Paul had to go - aggressive fool. I was wondering if Jessica and Francis might be gone too. Put ultimately the who disaster occurred because Paul didn't make it clear what the ridiculous original price or the changed my mind price included. Possibly not what the third price chanfe included. Least he'd made it clear by the fourth change.

Cant recall the name of that fool who cut up the six cucumbers but why was nothing made of his and Paul's comments in the kitchen (when the poor souls where having to face the terrible task of making food). Pretty sure he chose Paul to be team leader over a Jessica at the start due to Paul having a dick which means more that experience in events.

I like Karen. Think she's every right to be 'full of herself' (what I'd called confidence in her convictions). What she says that's bring perceived as bitchy is actually correct and what most people think but won't dare say. Dylan St Eyebrow's singing was unprofessional, embarrassing and bad.

Trishna is my favourite, least bullshit filled and the most level headed.

I'd have owned that aquarium tour. I am a total aquarium geek. I've been to the London one so many times and on holiday, seek out notable aquariums. The Barcelona one is good.

Courtney was pathetic. I know facts about jellyfish that would take your breath away. And got you to look up in the glass tunnel to tell the lady sharks from the men sharks. It's not what you think.

I agree Paul should have gone. Aggressive clueless cunt. And agree with other PP that Lord Sugar dealt surprisingly kindly with Jessica and Frances's tears and that was the right thing to do, even though Jessica is a little snake.

Omg it was cringeworthy! Paul was plain arrogant and nasty, his card was marked when he talked back and over SA. The girls are pathetic. How Trishna is keeping under the radar I don't know. Frances is 2 faced! Jessica all talk. I'd have wanted my money back for either event.

Sorry. I meant to say Frances is a little snake. To think I liked her last week...Jessica has grown on me. Just remembered, during the boat show task it was Paul who was lecturing her about lying. Mr Ethics.

isitnot I totally agree about the blatant belittling of the women not being picked up. I suppose it being picked up in the edit tells it's own story, as well as two out of the three worst offenders having been fired before the women. But they should have been pulled up it on You're Tired. Karthik was constantly dismissive, forgetting their names, belittling their skills, automatically voting for male pm's etc. Paul and Sofian ( cucumber idiot) do the same.
