What a way to start.

I'm really looking forward to the Paralympics. I'm a big fan of the last leg-I reckon the coverage will be really good. You're right-don't think I'm sleeping until October either!

Purple the last leg is genius, and I am glad it has continued over the last 4 years, they are a clever bunch.

I do hope the financial problems don't ruin the Paralympics too much, it was phenomenal in London, the athletes deserve everything that the Olympic athletes have had. But there's already been talk of having to cut some things,and the ticket sales have been rubbish.

What's the last leg? I won't be able to cope with late nights in Sept too!

I'm hoping that it'll be fine when it gets going-there was a lot of speculation that Rio would be rubbish and it's been great.

You don't know the Last Leg iwanna? You're in for a treat! It started off as an analysis show for the Paralympics in London but it was so popular it morphed into a comedy look at the news. It's usually on Friday 10pm channel 4z

Iwanna the last leg is a chat show type thing , started by Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker, during the London Paralympics. They were presenters on that. It's not for the precious- despite both Adam and Alex having disabilities, they are very irreverent about it, whilst also being brilliant whilst discussing big issues. The show continued, after the Paralympics, an they don't shy away from the big issues (rarely disability related, it's not the main part of the show).

They have a slot called 'Is it ok...' where the viewers text/tweet in instances of 'political incorrectness' re disability.

I think we now have 66 medals and London was 65. I have enjoyed this Olympics so much and looking forward to the Paralympics, which I hope gets sorted for all the athletes.

That was a nice bonus

And now the medal total for the 2012 Olympics has been overtaken and there's going to be a medal in the boxing tomorrow.
