So nice to see his sensitivity and emotional maturity has been passed on to the next generation.

Am I being thick, who did Brad call and who was at Lauren's at the end?

Thanks for new thread Anne

BusMum79 · 09/08/2016 21:03

Ned, maybe? Perhaps Brad wanted to hang out with him to get things back on track after being spurned by Lauren. Also the characters never socialise with anyone who isn't currently on the street unless it's someone who recently left so there are no options as Brad is such a drip he has no mates

Clawdy · 09/08/2016 22:14

Yes, bet it was Ned. Strange to see Matt's ghost earlier!

GwendolynPost · 10/08/2016 08:36

Wouldn't it be brilliant if Matt wasn't really dead, in witness protection because of Tomato Dimato.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/08/2016 09:44

Brad doesn't even dress well or wear clothes that fit him. Wardrobe obviously want to show him as a weed. He's such a drip, busmum that is the perfect term.

Back in the day Mark was all heroic, dark and sexy but now he's just the new Matt.

woodhill · 10/08/2016 10:30

lol at Tomato , definitely a dimwit

yes I like Matt shame he isn't still around.

old Brad used to be an airhead. why is Brad citizen of the year anyway, he is a drip and a serial adulterer

why is John judging Piper anyway.Paige is a slapper.

GwendolynPost · 10/08/2016 11:45

I know Piper has behaved badly but I can't believe the lack of compassion being shown to her by the adults in her life.

She's a teenage girl who has watched her parents marriage implode, her Dad is more bothered about his new woman than her, Therese was busy drinking and trying to destroy Paul.
Her brother and grandfather were killed, her sister has moved away and her first love has ended in heartbreak.

But, you know, let's all ignore the fact she's obviously in pain and focus on Paige because she's the real victim in all of thisConfused

Possible over investment there....

WhoAteAllTheDinosaurs · 10/08/2016 13:25

I love a good soap ghost scene. Still remember Bobby coming out of the fridge in home and away!

if only Matt came out of witness protection or back from the dead to kill Brad and Paige

GwendolynPost · 10/08/2016 14:14

No Neighbours dream sequence will ever top Bouncers dream. That was incredible.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/08/2016 15:21

Catching up. Why was Jack looking after a child in a bar? Questionable babysitting.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/08/2016 15:28

Why doesn't Paige have Jack's number saved?

MiddleClassProblem · 10/08/2016 15:54

I am happy it looks like a bit of humour might be coming our way with the preview for tomorrow

AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/08/2016 19:01

Oh yes! Ghost Bobby in the fridge! I'd forgotten all about that!

Middle you are so right about Mark being the new Matt. Hunky but ineffectual.

Ned is handsome. Tyler would be if he had a haircut.

That's fine Middle, until he turns round and shows off his rat's tail.

Is it just me or does it all seem a bit odd at the moment. Piper keeps finding a cat, that is never in any other scenes?

The whole Charlie in the dumpster bit seemed to be glossed over, it was almost as if they cut a bit out. One minute Steph is going to Amy's to pick him up, next thing she's in Toadies kitchen telling him how Charlie was in a dumpster, there was no search, no finding him, it just seemed really weird.

And the whole Ellie situation is weird too. She was staggering along as if she was drunk, then said that she doesn't drink then there was the whole bitten by a snake and oh you're pregnant. And why did the ex put money in her bank account? When you saw her staggering I thought she had maybe been drugged by that guy in the hotel who was going to give her a drink of water? Which also leads to the whole Amy and him situation, why was he filming her?

GwendolynPost · 10/08/2016 22:47

DH has been saying how weird it's been recently. It's like the writers are playing a game of consequences.

BreconBeBuggered · 10/08/2016 23:01

I distinctly saw them looking for Charlie, and inexplicably concluding he was in the dumpster in the nick of time. But the Ellie stuff baffles me. I have no recollection of her as a character, even though I remember the people she was linked to, and now that she's here I have no idea what she's meant to be up to.

Linnet · 10/08/2016 23:07

dd2 has just reminded me that the episode where they found Charlie was an episode where the sky box had missed the little bit before the theme tune. So that's why I don't remember them looking for him.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/08/2016 23:13

I'm not into Ned but I'm sure many are.

Linnet, I think you zoned out like I do for the Charlie search. They looked for him, Mark asked about and that's how Paige came to saying what she heard.

It defo is like consequences but it is a bit tiring having continual "whodunnits". I really am looking forward to the silly and fingers crossed Xen sorting things out.

This is the man for me in Neighbours. Love him.

Brad rang Toadie to hang out :)
He didn't know Ned was back until Toadie told him he'd seen him with Lauren and they aren't speaking cos of Ned kissing Lauren.
Everything Willis is about Paige and it's really annoying because she's not that good a character nor is she a good actor
Ellie wasn't in it for long back in the day but was an annoying brat, she wore a lot of gingham gypsy tops and liked to have her hair plaited across her forehead from one side to the other. I've got a vague recollection of her saving Dr Darcy when he had a heart attack

user1469376681 · 11/08/2016 01:50

The bar isn't a bar anymore, Karl got rid of it for tax reasons and Brad and Fr Jack are running it as a youth base/youth centre
The dude that Jack caught Paige necking on with that wasn't Tyler was boxing there and of course Paige had to be involved and he ended up sparking her out, this was of course after Brad said no to her boxing there but it's ok that she did cos she isn't Piper and only Piper does bad things!
I was looking forward to 'Typer' happening as well

HairsprayQueen · 11/08/2016 07:34
