Also, wasn't his mother at the hospital when he was hurt? She told Karl she was waiting for him to be brought in by ambulance. And clearly she abuses him because she can't handle the pressure of being a single parent as well as a surgeon

Any ideas what's behind Elly's weird obsession/hatred of Piper? Her blackmail of Therese seems very calculated. The way Piper is treated by her own family is appalling.

Could Elly's hatred purely be down to the Tyler thing? Getting off on the wrong foot? I had a teacher that hated me at school (private secondary) because my brother had had her as a teacher for the one term he was at state secondary. And he wasn't even a bad kid!

(Back story, he moved schools due to being bullied and I just followed because I wanted to go to school with him although now I wished I hadn't)

I think there's something causing Elly's weird behaviour like seizures, medication side effects, brain tumour, lingering horse allergy etc.

Maddie is singularly bringing down the standard of neighbours by about 50 points, and that's saying something.

Ellie - so annoying and the funny camera stuff must be telling us her behaviour id due to a medical issue of some kind. Neighbours did this before - remember when Paul suddenly became good?

Ellie is so false and such a shockingly bad actress. Hopefully she'll be found out soon. I still think Belinda is behind all this business with Ari. He'd be very easy to manipulate. She has always seemed to me to be rather more in need of medication than giving it to others.

Why didn't Susan deal with Ellie's calling Piper a skank? She decided the marks were fine, and that was that. I feel sorry for Piper, and I think things are going to get worse for her, with Ellie, before they get better.

Maybe Ellie is going to end up with a tumour? Its all very strange though. And I really feel for piper, sent off to Canada to study (I have never known anywhere where so many of the young people are internationally, or just nationally, educated!) And then ignored home. She needs proper parenting.

Am only 30 seconds into today's episode and already I'm irritated by Susan's lack of professionalism (unusual- admittedly) in going up to Piper in front of her dad and brother (whom she knows Elly is dating) to discuss a complaint made in confidence!!!

I want to adopt Piper to get her away from her awful family.

I will have a week's worth to watch on Wednesday. I just the Ari is obsessed with Belinda. I think she should be talked to about her therapy techniques of patients keep falling in love with her though... Surely over attachment is not helping.

Sounds like I will be pissed off for Piper too. I hope she gets justice or Elly get her comeuppance at some point though. I do think there is some curve in Elly's character ahead that could make her a long termer. I like her feistiness/bitchiness but she's a shit teacher. I think they will mellow her out but hopefully keep the bluntness as she's quite unneighboursy.

Madison will be head hunted by Lucy or get a record contract and shipped out soon (please, please, please!)

I can't believe Piper isn't already surreptitiously recording every conversation she has with Ellie. She'd have her evidence pretty quickly!

I was surprised Jack didn't break the rules of confession after the senior bloke reminded him he'd be excommunicated. I thought he'd follow his conscience, go to the police, get chucked out & get together with Paige. I'm enjoying his scenes with Amy but it'd be nice if they didn't just have women exploring their faith because of the hot priest... the interest in God only seems to be a plot device to have Jack spend time with women. If he does leave the church for Amy I might have to stop watching for a while - Paige moaning about not being good enough will get old fast!

Judging from the preview clips today I'm revising my prediction to Belinda having manipulated Ari into "loving" her but got him moved when he was being too obvious & risking exposing her. He was dismissed as delusional & obsessive but given her history with Steph it's plausible that it wasn't one sided. Belinda moved onto Steph but is still able to manipulate Ari & is using him to punish Steph for not being under her control.

Nooooooo! not Mark, he can't die. I know he can be a bit of a drip but I've always liked him. There are more worthy victims, Elly, Paige, Madison. Hope the trailers were just teasing.

He can't die (again lol 😀) no one would ever believe that he wasn't just in witness protection again I'm fairly sure from things I've heard that he doesn't die.
