Was Davos 'walking away' in the trailer for next episode, though? I thought he was standing by the remains of the pyre the Red Woman burnt Shireen on. Hopefully, he will deal with her at some point soon.

Ok I'm a bit disappointed faceless man man isn't Syrio, but I'd have thought Arya was strutting around last week in order to lure Waif to a dark place.

I now want her to go home and kill Ramsy. In a no nice way, a way that even The Mountain would think was a bit mean.

My speculation (possible spoiler) is that next week we'll see Brienne and Pod row past Gendry. They probably wave.

But, given that Westeros and all other known lands appear to require an heir, how can Dany and Yara be the golden couple? Once they both die it would be the same all over again surely?

I agree that the series seems to have lost a bit of its edge now that it doesn't have the books - as others have said, I'm just desperately hoping they don't do a Lost on us!

I'm also wondering if there's any way that Arya and Tyrion will somehow cross paths... iirc all of her knowledge about Joffreys death and Sansa's fate comes from what she's seen and heard through the actors troupe, she may feel the need to avenge her sister if she were to find an opportunity. That would be interesting at least.

Arya can get to Winterfell in time easily for the next episode in Littlefinger's or Brienne's helicopter.

The time taken to travel to places does seem much shorter than in S1

Not too sure what to make of this episode. The series as a whole feels clunkier which may be due to the lack of source material. I'm glad Arya is on her way back- IIRC she always got on very well with Jon. Be interesting to see how she and Sansa get on now.
Very upset about the Blackfish- really wanted him to head north.

Dany is meant to be barren (although we suspect that may change) which is one of the reasons why Euron's plan, which seems so reasonable to him, is such a fantastic misunderstanding of her situation. So from that POV Yara is just as good a spouse as any.

Re. the face changing thing...I assumed Arya wouldn't be able to do it in Westeros as she won't have access to the faces in the House of B&W. Unless she starts her own collection

I think the Mereen scenes have been some of the weakest this season. I reckon that as they know Peter Dinklage is a fan favourite they wanted to give him some screen time despite him basically doing very little. Hence lots of drinking games and "witty" comments

Either arya will start her own collection of faces or she stashed a few in her bag when she deposited the waif's face in the hall.

I'm reading a feast for crows at the moment, a lot of the storylines in this series happen in that book - the whole riverrun thing, albeit without brienne there - jaime's trebuchet speech is pretty much word for word.

I reckon they are trying to fill in bits without bringing the plot on too much further.

GRRM needs to pull his finger out and get another book done!
Didn't he tell the producers the overall storyline in case he dies before he finished writing?
