I too wondered why Benjen has been wandering round for the past couple of years, rather than going back to Castle Black.

Also, the talk about the Brotherhood with banners makes me think Lady Stoneheart may be coming. And maybe she is the resurrection that Ian McShane has been alluding to in interviews, and not the Hound.

The show producers call him Coldhands Benjen. Their prerogative.

But GRRM said to his editor, in the books, Benjen is NOT Coldhands.

Benjen has been resurrected, not sure if he counts as a good white walker, certainly not human or member of the Nights Watch anymore. Therefore he cannot pass though the Wall.

I do not dare to write down what Dany's rousing speech reminded me of, but thankfully the show runners confirmed what their inspiration was.

Many book readers thought that her recent story is based on the invasion of Iraq though.

I have not looked at all the photos from Bran's vision, but we seen to have the right idea about Dany. Dragons were not actually so useful in open combat anyway, they are more shock and awe, and I doubt that would work when the whole Westeros is overrun by wights. Dragons are, however, very useful to subdue civilian population.

It is strange Sam took that sword. I always thought that he would be an archer killing a dragon. Who will Sam meet in Oldtown? Will we see Alleras and Jaqen?

If Arya kills the Waif, that will be pure plot armor. Mo=ind you, I want her to win.

Do we really think Margery is religious? I would not think so. It is more likely that she is hoping to have Cersei out of her way, and then deal with the Faith. Tommen seems to have no backbone anyway. I mo not even sure he understood why he had to send Jaime away (i.e. to separate him from Cersei, as they are still living together).

Who was Sansa explaining herself in the trailer for next? "I did what I had to do to survive." It is probably just about her time with Ramsay, but it sounds fishy in GoT, it is always the sign of selling someone down the river.

North my guess is that she is being questioned about being a "Lannister" - the Tullys are against them at Riverrun.

Yes, I don't think Dany will be the saviour of westeros in the way I envisioned in the earlier books.

I am more and more convinced that westeros will be pretty much destroyed between Dany and the white walkers - bearing in mind it is pretty much winter and many crops and stores have been destroyed by the war too.

I think we will see the 'big battle' between Dany and the White walkers sooner than we might think - the next book is the wind of winter, but isn't the final one going to be called 'a song of spring' or something like that?

So I think wow will deal with the big conflict and the final book will be the rebuilding of westeros - perhaps as a republic?
