It sounds amazing. Do you have a pattern or are you making it up? (Can we see photos)

toriap2 · 24/05/2016 22:56

I have patterns for some, but had to do the logo and tree myself. The nights watch looks like this and Lannisters nearly done

They're amazing. I haven't crocheted in years but I'm tempted to try now. Maybe start smaller with a cushion cover?

toriap2 · 24/05/2016 23:13

There are some really good GoT cushion cover patterns I saw. One has one side stark one side lannister. Its single crochet so no fancy patterns just colour change.

EverySongbirdSays · 24/05/2016 23:19

Those crochets are AMAZING.

WANT.

Last Inception scene is the Spinning Top thing.

I think I might have a go over the summer tori. Thank you so much. Do let us see more as you do it.

RJnomore1 · 24/05/2016 23:27

Yes spinning top I though it was a coin he spun

toriap2 · 25/05/2016 05:44

Thenk you very much every. The patterns are free on ravelry and I will happily share my patterns to anyone who wants them.

FishWithABicycle · 25/05/2016 07:00

I don't get why people are coining the phrase "branception" or what specific theory this word represents.

I loved the inception film but there wasn't any time travel in it was there?

ClashCityRocker · 25/05/2016 07:31

Great episode. Glad brans left the tree, I was worried he would just stay there - but is that the end of the past flashbacks, or can he do it with any weir wood?

Love the crochets!

It better not be a time loop ending - to me that's akin to the final scene being a checkout girl day dreaming.....hmm, that would piss the fans off!

PixieChops · 25/05/2016 08:29

Your crochet is fab!
I'm feeling slightly confused. Are the Wight Walkers and the Others the same thing?
Also chuckled at the idea of a Walker nursery Grin
It is funny how everything that has happened is all Brans doing right from the start.
I'm now wondering who dies next. Nobody is safe Confused

TheNorthRemembers · 25/05/2016 08:33

toriap That is amazing. Wow!

I have downloaded The Time Travellers Wife, as I could not find the book.

EverySongbird I did not read Murakami in English, so my book says his name in this order. Grin I did not read it in Japanese either just to clarify.

I do not mind if flashbacks are over, as long as Benjen sits down, faces the camera and tells us EVERYTHING he knows.

BrienneAndTormund · 25/05/2016 09:00

White walkers and others are tr same I think
Wights are the zombies

EverySongbirdSays · 25/05/2016 11:33

I can't crotchet sadly, I have an issue with my right hand which means I can't really use it for anything - can't knit either

Get you bilingual Betty (North)

I've had a thought that perhaps Bran the Builder/Bran are the same person?

Is the Three Eyed Raven kind of like the Dalai Lama, eg each is a reincarnation. Of the last? It might explain how Bran ends up with 1000 years of knowledge. I also think the White Walkers might be sentient and people don't realise until they become one, a la Total Recall, where the goodies and baddies are reversed. They then wouldn't be repulsed by their own appearance.

HoldtheDoor · 25/05/2016 12:23

Any things possible Everdene.
In the books it always looks like Brienne and Jaime are meant to end up together.

NamelessEnsign · 25/05/2016 14:27

Ok, I am very late to this thread but 😦😮😥😭😵.

I am not usually a very vocal TV watcher but so far this season I have cheered out loud at the Brienne/Sansa reunion, and actually wept at the Hodor scene. As soon as he started saying "Hold the door", I actually got the chills.

So are we expecting Wight Summer and Wight Hodor in future episodes? That will be painful.

I do rather like Sansa finding her feet though. I think she's going to find her own agency from now on and stop being a person to whom things just happen (repeatedly and painfully).

The whole Bran/Wylis/Bloodraven thing is a headfuck though!

Cerseirys · 25/05/2016 16:54

Yes, but we all know GRRM doesn't do happy endings...

JeepersMcoy · 25/05/2016 17:01

fish you are right that inception isn't actually time travel. I think it is getting used because it is generally thought to be quite confusing in a similar way to time travel loops. Also it ties in with the view of bran travelling between stories within stories and the risk of him losing himself in the wrong reality. Plus it sounds good and people generally get the gist even if the detail isn't right.

Badders123 · 25/05/2016 17:04

I see J killing C then sacrificing himself for T
John and Dany are obv the fire and ice but aren't they related!? not a deal breaker for the targaryans

ShellSuitonBonfireNight · 25/05/2016 17:49

So obvs I was in bits at the final scene but tbh I'd already been set of sniffling by Theon and Yara at the Kingsmoot. The bit when Theon declares for Yara and they share a look....it was Theon acknowledging that he is no longer Reek, he is Theon, but at the same time he was giving up part of his identity as heir to Salt Throne. So good!....

...Unlike the rest of the Iron Islands stuff which just left me quietly sniggering. Imagine if Euron had just drowned when they er...drowned him. At least in the books Damphair's character peforms basic CPR, on the show he just hopes for the best. The Iron Islander's really are a bit shit.

Unlike Brienne and Tormund! Bri's one-liners where on-point!

ClashCityRocker · 25/05/2016 18:02

Sansa is a lot more interesting now she's found her spunk. I think she lied to Jon as she wants to be in control and suspects that he would encourage an alliance with littlefinger (who has aged considerably, apparently) for the men of the eyrie.

Euron is rubbish. I quite liked the character in the book, in the series he just seems lame - as do most of the iron islanders to be honest.

EverySongbirdSays · 25/05/2016 18:26

fish branception because these are his visions and dreams but what is dream and what is reality it's not really time travel it's s vision of the past like the whole thing with Moll in Inception

OP posts:
JeepersMcoy · 25/05/2016 18:45

I did wonder how many potential kings they had lost with the whole drowning thing. Seems a bit reckless ;o

NuggetofPurestGreen · 25/05/2016 19:07

I loved Victarion in the book and all the iron island stuff. It's not much use in the show. Over in ten minutes too.
