Well, the Yorks won the crown from the Lancasters only to lose it back to them as Henry Tudor was the only Lancaster heir. The First Of His Name thing is important and he established himself as a drinking whoring lazy fuck with incest kids, his name inspires no real loyalty. The public are more likely to follow a claim to the throne from Rickon or Bran Stark than for Gendry, they at least are noble born and carry their fathers legacy.

The throne is anyone's for the taking really - surprising no other family hasn't just taken it.

Had no idea about the Meera Reed Jon Snow theory - first I've heard. Intriguing.

Really think Tommen will die this season - not sure how.

Who is meera reed?

Meera and Jojen Reed looked after Bran and took him to the Children of the Forest. Their dad was friends wit Ned Stark. Jojen could see into the future.

Meera and Jojen Reed are the 2 teenagers who have been following Bran round on his mission to meet the three eyed raven. In the show they aren't well explained. It's better done in the books. They are the children of Howland Reed and they come to Winterfell to pledge allegiance to House Stark and the cause of King Robb after Ned Stark dies. Like Bran, Jojen has visions of the future. They killed him off in the show but he's still alive in the books. When Theon pretended to kill Bran and Rickon, Meera and Jojen went on the run with them.

Ah yes thanks - I know who she is now. I never really understood who those 2 characters were before!

She did think that and asked him in the last series how he could've done that to them and he told her that the kids he killed weren't Bran and Rickon and they were probably still alive.

Just watched Ep 2. Omg omg omg, I didn't expect any of that! Some shocking good, some shocking bad, and others ducking awesome!

I don't know. I record it off Sky Atlantic at 2am Monday morning. How do other people access it? Is it still true that the majority of people in the UK watch it at 9pm Monday evening?

I recorded and just watched now. I got confused with the Ramsay and Roose Bolton thing initially, thought it was vice versa!
