Yes Lord Bolton asks Ramsay if he knows who killed Stannis. Although Bolton could be bluffing, knowing Stannis body wasn't really recovered but making his son believe it was.

I watched the story so far thing this weekend and that stuck out to me. The fact that we never saw his body. It was just assumed that he was dead. Yes, they mentioned it tonight. That's possibly been thrown in as a reminder.

I'm hoping Melisandre is switching her life for the Snow.

I'm thought that might be the case but I now think she's been taking that necklace off and being the old version every night at bed time and we are only just seeing it now. I think that either he's not dead because of his connection with her or it's not actually him because she has the power to make one person turn into another and has used this, alongside Jon, to test the loyalty of the nights watch for some strange reason. Either way, I'm convinced he'll be back.

In the books Melisandre's jewel created an illusion. This one actually seems to confer youth - she moved like an old woman when the removed it. If I was her I'd be afraid of dying of old age in my sleep!

My theory regarding the very tedious Jon Snow is that burning Shireen released a lot of magical energy that was supposed to help Stannis succeed. It didn't, though, because Stannis wasn't Azor Ahai, Jon is. When Mel works this out, she'll be able to use that energy to resurrect Jon.

Either that or he has warged into Ghost.

Just had a thought - did anyone else see the GoT cover on the Metro yesterday? In the inside, there was a Missing Persons section that included four people, one of whom was Gendry (can't remember all the others, one was Dany, but they were all major characters). Do you think that means that Gendry will be back this season? He's been rowing for a very long time now!

I loved the dothraki bits too, but thought Ser Jorah's scenes, though nice to look at, had really weak dialogue.

I really liked it. I read some speculation somewhere that maybe Melisandre finally gave up her youth to save Jon Snow's life. Wonder if this could be the case? Everyone was kind of counting on her to bring him back so I'll be a bit miffed if she doesn't.

Back in series 3 or 4 there were a group of blokes who could resurrect themselves at will - does anyone else remember them? The main one was one of the scandi actors from that arctic thriller on Sky with Stanley Tucci in it. Maybe they could resurrect Jon Snow?

Am I alone in thinking that Jaime Lanister should mend his ways and get it on with Brienne? He thought enough of her to return and rescue her from the bear after all! Love Brienne - I accidentally stopped breathing when she rescued Sansa and Theon. The idea that they would be taken back to that psychopath Ramsay was just too awful to contemplate!
