Well that was weird
Mum who gave birth in the toilet is about as subtle as a brick. Presumably it's not her partner's, as he's been away for a year and she doesn't want him to know she's been shagging around.
Kim's blog is the most sanctimonious bunch of twaddle.
I'm amused to see half my predictions have come true already. I'm going to be tedious and link them.
It will be about 9/10 months in the future
Well, I was spot on with that - Kim mentioned "Almost ten months actually".
Rosie is about to drop or has just given birth to new baby (because obv, she's so super fertile she gets pregnant after one shag twice)
Ding ding
Jude will be all shock confused and trying to do his GCSEs
He did alright with those (not sure why he only did four though - any guesses?)
she'll either be in a council flat or some kind of young mum's hostel because Susie succeeded in persuading her to leave when she found out she was pregnant again.
Not quite. Though her Dad's flat is a council place I think. I'm not sure how they are swinging that. IME the council really don't take too kindly to people effectively jumping the queue by transferring the lease. What happened to him, anyway? I can't remember. Why won't he be coming back to the flat for a while?
And she'll be on the verge of a breakdown because coping with 2 babies at once isn't as easy and fun as she thought it would be and now she wants to go back to school.
Could happen later I suppose.
Prison husband just out of jail, some kind of question mark over house. Not sure how mum is supposed to be fighting for it. Perhaps she'll be running a cupcake/"keep calm and carry on" shabby chic merchandise related business
Nope just a secret childminding business! Which doesn't seem to conform to any kind of OFSTED regulations.
two adopted kids...about to go off the rails due to absent dad and not being centre of attention because babies.
I reckon they are hinting at this because the daughter is always looking after the baby and plucked her eyebrows.
Husband is all awkward and doesn't know how to fit into this new role. Maybe he becomes a stay at home dad and then ponders his masculinity and looks sad a lot. Rohanna ends up bonding with the FIL because he encourages her secret drinking, fuelled by PND, and they rekindle their affair while she slips into alcoholism and keeps ignoring the baby.
Too early to tell I suppose.
Kim has hugely clingy separation anxiety riddled baby because she never let anybody else touch it in the first few months and is feeling all anxious about going back to work. Is still with Neil who is getting a bit fed up and feels pushed out and wants to tell her to get a grip.
Ding ding ding
Kim will end up feeling sorry for Rosie and tutoring her one to one but they can't study because she's got 2 babies screaming at her all the time. Kim is worried for the babies' health/safety because Rosie obv isn't coping but is too nice to call SS and instead probably gets herself too overinvolved.
Seems plausible but too early to tell.
Susie is dating but is generally exasperated with going between Rosie's house and trying to work and yelling at Jude at the same time. Jude is failing at his GCSEs but also dating somebody new and ignoring Rosie a bit and Rosie is sad. Kim and Susie bump into each other at Rosie's house and have huge argument and then mad sex on the kitchen table. (OK, maybe not. Not sure BBC is quite brave enough to include lesbian sex in this kind of drama yet.)
LOL, um, no.
Hugh Grant doctor continues to be aloof, selfish, clueless and empathy-less. Giant eyelash woman bats giant eyelashes at him and ignores this while waxing lyrical about what a wonderful not-husband he is. He makes excuses as to why he can't track down this woman but she will conveniently turn up.
Nope, he's disappeared.
Jasmin will have some kind of post-pregnancy problems like SPD which continues after the birth and she will continue to moan about how pregnancy has wrecked her body and it was supposed to end when the baby came out. Her/her husband's family will be pressuring her to have lots more babies (a boy this time) and she'll be saying no way, not ever.
Aww :( No, Jasmin's storyline is a bit depressing so far really.
I think Mammuzzamia was right when she said all my predictions are too plausible and not far fetched enough!
Now I have questions.
Why did nobody phone an ambulance or the fire brigade to get Rosie out of the lift?! "What should I doooo? Oh I'll call my Dad." No you dimwit, phone an ambulance. Even if he was too panicked, why didn't Neil or Kim phone one??
Why is everyone still carrying gigantic 10 month olds around in those car seats as though they are newborns? They could at least pretend there's a baby in there, they are flinging the seats around like it's nothing. I was still using that kind of car seat by 10 months but they are heavy!
How did Rosie and Jude pack everything they own in two suitcases in about 10 seconds?
I thought all mums of twins were told about the possibility of TTTS early in pregnancy. Why weren't Jasmin and Dev? Come to think of it, two sets of twins in a group that small seems implausible.
Surely the hospital can work out given about thirty minutes who gave birth to that baby. They'll have CCTV of the waiting area, so they just have to look back and see who went in and the staff could identify their own patients. It's a maternity waiting room! So they can obviously discount any woman who is still pregnant or recently postnatal. That leaves them a pretty small number of possible women. They would also immediately see that the "young girl" who left the toilet before Leopardprint Coat didn't exist.
Hmm.
