Thought the standard had dropped a bit a few months ago, but it's really good again!

Great storylines with April/Jackson, Meredith sad new love interest , Hunt and Amelia, so many new complications!

OP posts:
CrazyDuchess · 07/06/2016 23:14

Well I struggled after the plane crash I must admit Danielle I loved Sloan and just couldn't understand how Meridith could suffer so much.

I have to go back to the beginning!

CrazyDuchess · 07/06/2016 23:28

Can I also confess to now have watched Derek's accident?? It just seemed wrong somehow....Sad

EverySongbirdSays · 07/06/2016 23:57

I got spoiled for that as I was unable to watch at time of broadcast. It took me MONTHS to sort out watching it as it just hacked me off. I think, even, though it had already past its best - that's when I started "hate watching" ie criticising more than enjoying or being impressed

Lilaclily · 08/06/2016 22:45

Shock watching live UK now !

EverySongbirdSays · 08/06/2016 23:00

April would surely have died from an infection after being opened up in Merediths kitchen, and passed out from the pain.

I call bullshit on that

Also, Arizona is going to have Sofia every other school year? Because THAT'S fair on her and good for her education and socialization.

CrazyDuchess · 08/06/2016 23:03

Unless she poured vodka all over it universal disinfectant on tv

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 08/06/2016 23:11

So after the whole court thing Arozona just gave her up??

Was that the last one?

I was sure April would die... I'm glad she didn't, mostly for Warrens sake!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 08/06/2016 23:11

How annoying is Meredith by the way!

EverySongbirdSays · 08/06/2016 23:17

I don't know why the fuck they bothered with the court drama, Sara was going anyway, it didn't make sense for the non-biological mother to get sole residency.

Alex being Alex was the best bit.

Jo's mad ex and Hunt's dead sister for Season 13

CrazyDuchess · 08/06/2016 23:21

Being baclose Burke for season 13!

More radical storylines..... I need another stone!

CrazyDuchess · 08/06/2016 23:22

I don't like Bailey as chief..... there is said it!

CrazyDuchess · 08/06/2016 23:22

And ignore my spells the there is a lot of wine and vodka in my system

EverySongbirdSays · 08/06/2016 23:52

Bailey as Chief is bullshit, WHY exactly would Hunt step down? He wants less money? If he was moving on with his career he'd retire be fired or leave before casually stepping down.

CrazyDuchess · 09/06/2016 00:19

Hunt was a brilliant chief - webber was a fantastic chief (okay dispute the alcoholism).

I don't know why I object to Baileyas chief - it just seems sad that her first real drama and decision making is about her husband...

Lilaclily · 09/06/2016 07:17

I nearly cried when he opened up April !

ILikeToClean · 09/06/2016 09:34

This programme has lost it. The whole wedding drama, running away etc, Amelia is just so annoying I couldn't care less if it happened or not! Within a month or so they'll scree it up anyway!

Baby drama - I still love April and Jackson so was pleased it all worked out but really, opening her up on the table - it's not like they were in the middle of nowhere with no power, just a bit of rain, he'd just take her to the hospital in the first place!

Jo drama - so bloody obvious what was going to happen from the moment he was in the bar with her!

And Arizona/Callie - what was the point of the courtroom episode and all the drama then?

I used to love GA, now I just think it should end (or should have ended a couple of seasons ago). I'll still watch but I just don't care anymore!

spiderlight · 09/06/2016 09:46

The courtroom drama was jsut to stop Callie taking her to wherever she was going to move to with Penny (I've forgotten already). Now I think Arizona wants to go back to shared custody. I think she said every other summer rather than every other school year but I might be wrong.

How was April suddenly full-term?? And that baby at the end was about three months old!

The last two seasons have ended in such a half-arsed way that I've got the feeling they're never quite sure whether they're coming back or not. Everything's mostly wrapped up, but oh wait, two half-sisters both like the same guy. Meh. Where are the giant cliffhangers they used to leave us with?

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 09/06/2016 10:50

It probably would've been a better cliffhanger to not know what happened to April...

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 09/06/2016 15:11

I'm glad April is ok, poor thing hasn't had much luck with her pregnancies. C section with no pain relief. Ouch. Hope her and jackson get back together.

ILikeToClean · 09/06/2016 19:09

So was that the season finale?

spiderlight · 09/06/2016 19:12

Yup.

JuxtapositionRecords · 09/06/2016 19:29

I had never seen Greys before until a while ago when I did a MASSIVE binge watch from the beginning. Fell straight in love with it. Got to the merger and started to get really bored with it - it completely changed. Boring characters, no humour, storylines being dragged out. I actually got so fed up after the plane crash I stopped watching and googled the rest - I'm so glad I did, I would have been so pissed off with Derek dying and Cristina leaving! Have read this thread just to be nosey and it sounds awful now. Glad I stopped but what a shame they didn't just end it when it was still good a few series ago.

EverySongbirdSays · 09/06/2016 19:31

Worst Season Finale Ever.

And yes, the merger is the turning point.

Lilaclily · 10/06/2016 11:37

Oh I quite liked it ! No one died fit once or was shot or involved in a nasty accident

Chuckading · 10/06/2016 20:16

I didn't realise that was the series finale!! Bit disappointed now!
