Thought the standard had dropped a bit a few months ago, but it's really good again!

Great storylines with April/Jackson, Meredith sad new love interest , Hunt and Amelia, so many new complications!

I quite liked it too & liked Meredith & Amelia becoming closer as Amelia has been trying to act like a sister & Meredith has (hurtfully in my opinion) kept her at arms length deliberately (although I do understand her reasons regarding how it seems she's 'replacing' Derek).

Glad April is ok & Bailey & Warren are sorted now too. It did feel like it could be the end altogether, rather than a series finale.

Totally agree that the merger of the hospitals was the downfall as there were too many characters then & didn't really like any of them (although the shooter that season was gripping!)

See I thought it got worse after mark and lexy died! Then they all became board members etc and people get killed left right and centre (including Derek jeeze!)

It's definitely been renewed for October.

I liked the Karev ending as that was harking back to his old character. Meredith and new man just made me feel a bit sick. Stupid love triangle anticipated which could be easily solved with the sentence 'you know what 'sis', we shagged already' end of.

Am really quite angry about the unecessary melodrama of a C section with no pain relief. The same showrunner did the same thing with Violet in private practice, but with someone violent.

Thatch was last seen a couple of years after the Stepmum died, he became alcoholic and had a dodgy liver and a trophy wife/girlfriend.

Lexie begged Meredith to give him a bit of her liver, and he survived.

They only wrote that in because Ellen Pompeo was heavily pregnant at the time. I don't think we'll see him again as he's (actor) a main part on Scandal now.

The newish sisters plotline is the biggest turnoff for me. It's so ridiculously artificial. Meredith, who took forever to warm up a little to Lexie as the sister she didn't know about, invites Maggie and Amelia to live with her because she just loves having sisters so much? Why doesn't at least one of these high-earning adults want to live in a place of their own?

Also, where the fuck are the children sleeping, assuming Amelia and Maggie have the two spare bedrooms? Lexie's attic? How did that conversation go? 'Sorry, Zozo, Auntie Amelia is moving back in again so you're going to have to give up your bedroom. Again. Plus, Ellis keeps falling down the loft ladder so she needs someone to keep an eye on her.'

Jassy - that's such a good point about the rooms and there only being three main bedrooms and the attic. When Callie stayed she had George's room. When Alex moved in the same. It would've made sense if they'd lived in the Dream House still. I don't really get why she left that as it was Derek's land and had far more sentimental value then say Owen selling his trailer that they rarely stayed in and was really Addison's last home with him, then Alex's house, then Owen's.

Those kids are Flowers In The Attic anyway. Where were they when Amelia did a runner from her wedding to buy a slushie. Why weren't Zola and Ellis flower girls?

Aren't there 4 bedrooms though and the attic? Because at one point, Meredith & Derek, Lexie, April, Jackson and Alex were all living there and had their own rooms? Wonder is it like the coronation st houses??
