Thought the standard had dropped a bit a few months ago, but it's really good again!

Great storylines with April/Jackson, Meredith sad new love interest , Hunt and Amelia, so many new complications!

Peter Krause (Six Feet Under, Parenthood) as a conman being investigated by yer one from the US remake of The Killing. I think.

Last I remember she was going under for the op? Can't remember anything about patients after that!

I'm rewatching now Matilda and will report back!

It's in the dialogue between docs about half way through the episode. We don't even see the OR. Getting the distinct impression that there was far more to the story but they had too much to fit in and made a messy decision about what to cut out, subbing it with a scene that required very little planning or time commitment.

Though the mother goes in for her OP after we get the update about the son, yes. I don't remember a thing about either of them after this point though.

Maybe we will find out about them beginning of next season. Could return to the wedding reception, Alex and Jo's flat etc?

Finished now we don't hear about them after that. They're not exactly crucial to the storyline or anything but it's definitely messy.

I do think we'll be returning to the flat. Or I hope we will. They've relied too much on hitting the fast forward button after an event.

Callie has only been with new girlfriend a few months , they were only talking about custody last week and they're in court already !

Callie and Arizonas ruling is ridiculous the adoptive step parent would only get sole in the event of abuse!!!!! What WOULD have happened is that joint custody would have continued as normal and Callie would've have been barred from removing Sofia from the state

There's no chemistry between Callie and Penny to suggest this is even worth it. It's happening as a storyline for reasons outside of the show

Ridiculous indeed! And I cannot believe that a mother would move to another state and leave her child behind, especially for the love of someone she's known for less than a year.
Ps is the actress that plays Arizona pregnant IRL?? Lots of big clothes and funny angles!

It was rubbish she got sole custody, though I hate penny so hopefully that's the end of her?

I thought the ruling was ridiculous too. I also can't stand Penny & the lack of chemistry between the 2 characters makes her even worse!

Have they also given up on Arizona having a false leg? There were loads of shots of both her legs when previously she had a metal leg, not a real looking prosthetic!

All the above aside, I enjoyed the episode & found myself tearing up!
