Thought the standard had dropped a bit a few months ago, but it's really good again!

Great storylines with April/Jackson, Meredith sad new love interest , Hunt and Amelia, so many new complications!

It's not, honestly. There are bigger things happening in the finale which haven't even been mentioned or hinted to in this thread. It's a shame we've spoiled some of it but the other things that happen will be a surprise as they aren't mentioned here at all and are worth the watch still.

Again, apologies for kicking off the whole spoiler thing, for some reason I assumed UK was as up to date as US like we are with Game of Thrones, no idea why I thought that though.

They've done what they've done with Game Of Thrones now, because initially I think we were a week or two behind and people just pirated left and right and it was to stop that.

I've no idea why they don't do it for everything. The Catch for example started here this week it's just FINISHED in the States.

FWIW I haven't even seen the Finale

OK. I'll do my best. I may mix stuff up with last series, lol, soz if so.

Maggie and Amelia moved in with Meredith. Her kids conveniently vanish when required. Bailey was made Chief because Hunt didnt want it anymore (because that happens) Meredith is what Bailey was.

Webber married Katherine but she's never in it.

Arizona and Webber spend a lot of time together at trivia nights - her pulling women him for the trivia.

Maggie slept with Delucca but she got too serious for him

Callie turned up for dinner at Merediths with Penny, and Meredith braved it out before having a meltdown and telling everyone Penny killed Derek. Bailey revealed she'd JUST given Penny a job. Penny then had an extremely hostile work environment yet somehow stayed.

There was also a storyline were Jo accused Steph of lying to get extra surgeries - she wasnt it was uncomfortable and weird.

Riggs turned up as an ex army guy apparently hated by Hunt and you know just gets a job there right away. No-one knows what the animosity is. It turns out he was married to Hunt's sister and Hunt blames him for her death in a helicopter crash.

Alex and Jo had some will they won't they engagement drama and Jo carried on struggling with Meredith in general.

Ben kept doing rash stuff at work until he got suspended for killing a pregnant woman.

April signed divorce papers knowing she was pregnant and Katherine planned to take her baby based on "fraud" so she issued a restraining order but then they sorted shit out.

I think that's it. God it's been a really "nothing" series this year.

Penny is the doctor who was at the hospital that Derek died in who really wanted to do a head CT but no one listened to her Hmm

Penny worked at Dillard were Derek died. She was a resident and nobody listened to her about him needing a CT. She was the one who told Meredith Derek was dead. She was introduced as THAT PERSON by Meredith. She almost lost her job at Grey Sloan due to the connection til Meredith said she could keep it and then she and Amelia essentially workplace bullied her for ages.

Me and Friend watched first episode together, I didn't take to it and didn't follow up, she watched the next one, and said it didn't get much better and abandoned it. I've been losing patience with a lot lately, I also abandoned Marcella and The Five - the US series are much better IME/IMO

What were your questions? Probs can't answer though.

I'm plodding on with it. Was shocked at who won the custody battle! I love GA. But have found the last series or so not so amazing. But I keep on as I can't give it up as I've watched it a few times through from series 1.

I don't think for a second a judge would've awarded the custody that way. The birth mother, a more flexible schedule, didn't run out of the court room. I'm glad she won, but it doesn't make much sense.

Penny is an awful character. Not sure why they bothered with her at all!

I'm considering rewatching from the very beginning. It was so brilliant for years. And also very sad, they knew how to get you blubbing!

I'm running out of things to watch, I love binge watching great shows but don't think there's much left for me now that I like the look if.

Songbird I found The Five really interesting actually. Wasn't too keen to begin with but it got much better. But you are right, UK series just can't do it like the US.

I really liked the five aswell. Might watch Scandal as I gave up at the start of season 2 but might give it another crack.

I can't work out why you'd give up a head job to follow some muppet like Penny across country. She's very very dull and boring.
