Morning! Just a quick addition to the F1 comments. I have to agree aspara - I'm not a placard carrying feminist by any means but if there's one thing that really irritates me about F1 every year it's the skimpily clad women who stand on the track before each car holding a number up and at the end as they line the way to the podium winners area clapping the heroic male winners - it really annoys me! You can tell there aren't any female drivers in F1 or that would have to go straight away! The only thing F1 has had a positive influence on is general motor safety as lessons learned from F1 have filtered down to standard cars over time.

OK rant over I can smelll a bra burning somewhere must go - have a good day everyone!

MaddieMoo82 · 21/03/2016 09:20

I'll take the 6 year old, but you're on your own with the 2 year old Grin

MaddieMoo82 · 21/03/2016 15:01

Oooh neither!! Been trying and failing to get DS to nap for the last 90 mins! I give up!!!

icemistOBE · 21/03/2016 15:11

Been a very long day. Looked at my watch then thinking must be near 5pm nope only 3....

They've stopped fighting now. Wii U has been confiscated, only allowed in the sitting room.....

I'm working from home (supposedly) this afternoon as I had a workman come round to give a quote for something I need fixing. So far, I've had two cups of tea (one with the workman), two biscuits and read greenstuff's latest chapter. Left on my instant messaging though so I am available if need be. The work I had planned to do I can easily do when it's gone dark so I could go and do an hour in the garden....

It's a great perk being able to work from home but I'm not disciplined enough to do it on a regular basis.

moojangles · 21/03/2016 18:46

TNM combats are quite snug, not that I'm complainingGrin. Bit late to the party/combat fest, agsin

MaddieMoo82 · 21/03/2016 19:37

Not late mooj I haven't seen it yet although I have now built up this combat trousers scene in my mind! Smile

Did you manage to get outside ilove? I'd be rubbish at working from home as have no willpower to get things done. I've actually been better at getting things done at home since I've been back at work! Guess I have to do it now!

Right must go and rescue my roast chicken....

Ilovelblue · 21/03/2016 22:11

I did an hour or so in the garden Maddie but have had to make up for it tonight - just finished an extremely boring online training course. Watching Royal Navy School now. I think it's the last one. It's been fascinating. I couldn't put up with that kind of discipline. Well, maybe when I was 18 or 19, I wouldn't have known any better but now, I'd just tell them where to stick it and no doubt get immediately thrown out!

I have occasionally worked from home and it's very handy like today when you have workmen in etc but to be honest, I like the company at work. It is too quiet working at home and I would get very, very distracted - washing, cooking, gardening etc!

orphan · 21/03/2016 22:29

Well, hello everyone! Sorry for the rather prolonged absence but I was detained for some time in Siena after an unfortunate misunderstanding (gatecrashed a carabinieri ball and got carried away with the 'serve yourself' buffet; apparently certain salamis weren't help yourself Blush).

Once the restraining order was lifted, I hotfooted it to SA to get into position in my latest disguise - jeep seat. And I'm happy to report back to you that BA's buttocks are in fine fettle. I can't really emphasise enough just how satisfying those deep ruts are on the roads...

Ilovelblue · 21/03/2016 22:35

You're back orphan! I knew it would be something to do with salami!

We've been fantasising about BA's thighs whilst you've been away......

orphan · 21/03/2016 22:41

Ah well, ilove I have no need to fantasise since I am in very close contact with those very thighs. My jeep seat disguise credentials are impeccable and I've not been rumbled yet. I did wonder if I'd spotted woof though, cunningly disguised as a warthog crossing the dusty track the other day... unfortunately BA swerved and missed.

Ilovelblue · 21/03/2016 22:51

Yes orphan she's been conspicuous by her absence too!

Have you managed to see the photos from the group out in SA? BA was playing the jungle drums in one of them....could that have been woof?

MaddieMoo82 · 22/03/2016 06:47

Morning all! Good to hear you are safely back from Italy orphan! Very jealous of your SA escapades especially your land rover seat passenger!
DS must know when a long day is planned. He woke at 4.50, went back to sleep at 5.45 and then my alarm went off 5 minutes later arghh! Now I need to go and wake him! It's going be a long day.
I'm good friends with someone in the navy ilove who has done that training and they said they don't show half of what goes on! He's done well for himself though although he said he hated the training it was the worse bit.
Have a good day everyone!

Richtea19 · 22/03/2016 07:00

Ahh glad to have you back orphan, I was wondering how I would manage measuring up those thighs for OG2 regulation slow slung combats. Looking at the cast picture and the girth of his thighs it looks like a two hand job Wink

pixieg1rl · 22/03/2016 07:20

Good disguise orph, glad to hear you are taking care of BA's tender parts for us.

orphan · 22/03/2016 07:27

Morning! Had fun reading back through all the posts and zooming in on TH's glory and BA's thighs

Hmm, ilove as for the drum disguise woof would most certainly take any opportunity to have BA's thighs gripped round her for a quick bang ...

Yes richtea my tape measure is quivering in anticipation...

On a more serious note so sorry to hear about your uncle kelly and glad that your mum's on the mend BK.

Nickel45 · 22/03/2016 17:56

Hey orphan glad you're back.
Just need woof to come out of hiding now :)

MaddieMoo82 · 22/03/2016 19:05

Ooh it's been quiet on here the last few days! Has everyone absconded to South Africa and not told me?.... Hmm

Ilovelblue · 22/03/2016 19:24

I wish I could say yes to that Maddie but sadly that would appear to be orphan's privilege! I've been getting acquainted with my new varifocal glasses and struggling a bit. Watching TV is fine but close work (typing etc) has caused me a few issues. They cost a bloody fortune as well.

moojangles · 22/03/2016 20:05

mine made me sea sick ilove but I was amazed at how quickly I got used to them, could never eat wearing them though! Have a new lense type now

orphan · 22/03/2016 20:22

Oh dear, I've been putting off going to have my eyes tested cos I just know I'll have to get varifocals...

ilove last week I went to see the Garden exhibition at the Royal Academy and thought of you. I whizzed by most of the paintings but was impressed by the final room which displayed the enormous Monet waterlily triptych.

The painting I'd've taken home though was one of Nasturtiums by Gustav Caillebotte. Really beautiful colours and very modern looking despite being an impressionist work. There was also a room with some great photos of the artists in their gardens - Klimt looked like someone you wouldn't want anywhere near your children....Confused

orphan · 22/03/2016 20:32

This is the Caillebotte painting. I need to work out how to carry out an art heist.
