Well that's another evening flown by in the blink of an eye spent doing jobs, ironing new uniform etc. Only just had time to sit down now!!

ilove it looks so lovely where you are. The buildings are so pretty. When I'm abroad I do like like looking at the architecture of certain places. Have you been to Venice before?

Just back from a mad dash to Asda as I just remembered its Sports Relief tomorrow and all 3 kids are doing sponsored walks at school so I had to get really bright clothes for DD as apparently they have to bright colours. Plus got to collect sponsor money!! Its expensive this school lark, isn't it?

No not really. Gp surgery just rang to say they want to see him this morning so probably a good thing I'm not working. Hope it's not the one that told me that this is what happens when you go back to work early and put children into nursery young

Grr at doctors who say such tactless things Mads. I had a very difficult pregnancy with DS and I needed quite expensive drugs to be able to function for a time. I asked for a repeat prescription from one Dr who gave me a lecture about how at 18 weeks I should be over the sickness (I wasn't, I was sick for all 42 bloody weeks) and that I was damaging my baby by taking the drugs. She redeemed herself by being excellent when I was at the worst stage of PND.

I hope minimads is doing ok with the spots. It's not pleasant for them but it's a bit easier on you when they're younger and all sick and clingy.

DS has to dress in something sporty for Sport Relief tomorrow so he's going in his All Blacks t shirt and that's the extent of any effort I'm making. He's also got an evening at school on Friday night, for which I he has to put together a collection to display like at a museum so There's a collection of sea shells waiting to go to school tomorrow. Of course MrP is away with work as per bloody usual so muggins here is doing it all.

Oh pix how I wish it was still as simple as a shell collection... DS has a deadline of Monday for a 5000 word essay but has only managed to produce 600 words for proof reading! Was too embarrassed to ask for help...prannet!!
When mine were little and DH was away alot i just regarded myself as a single parent, then you don't get frustrated about lack of help, but be prepared for when you are no longer in demand! Sorry if that sounds a bit down, now off to hospital to sort out what is going on with my Mum.

I think a sea shell collection in a box is the least I can do BK, especially as I have my nose in my kindle every spare moment these days.

pix you can feel exonerated about the Kindle as my counsellor says escapism at times is good/OK!! Currently I have resorted to a good old fashioned book! Back to an earlier discussion on here about a bit of dust never killed anyone so housework can slide for a while!!

With the Sport Relief thing, they gave me 3 sponsor forms to get money but I thought I'm not doing three so I'm just going to fill in DD's form. Plus DD's started to do a football kickabout type thing with a local kids team on a Saturday morning so we've got to buy shin pads. I'll just make her wear trainers. I'm not buying football boots just yet!!

Sounds like you had it rough pix the gp we saw today was very nice and not all tactless thank goodness. Don't think my emotional tired state could handle any more tactless comments! They have said the chicken pox is mild due to his age as still has some immunity from me but still a bit concerned about his chest. Back on Monday if no improvement, crossing fingers!

Oh dear apsara It must be one of the times when it feels like everyone's littlies aren't well. I can't wait for hopefully a nice summer to make everyone feel better.

Evening all. Hope things have stabilised BK and that they are sorting your Mum. Is it a nearby hospital or is there lots of distance to cover?

Maddie is your boss being understanding or not re mini-mads? Male or female?

The weather was better today and almost wall to wall sunshine but still a keen wind and you needed coats in less sheltered spots. We went to Andratx on the local bus and had a lovely walk round the bay then came back into Palma late afternoon. Tom Cruise and John Noakes are supposed to live there but didn't spot them. Bet some of you don't even remember John Noakes from Blue Peter!

Sorry, on a big of a roll here but that looks like one of Molly's special plaits she's sporting. I was always to envious of those!
