Just saw we were dangerously close to filling the last thread so have taken the liberty as starting this one.

Ah yes, Christopher Plummer as the Captain does things to me too.

Ida - Those pictures are amazing! He looks better out of his dog collar!

And Dr Turner once said, "Hello, Nurse!" in a repulsively pervy and cringey way making the whole of England and English speaking countries regret the invention of the television.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/03/2016 17:35

As long as whoever it is doesn't fall off a ladder rather pointlessly this time... That was the biggest cop-out death I've ever seen.

ShelaghTurner · 05/03/2016 17:37

Lots of hand kissing
One small peck
One very unsatisfactory peck on the sofa
One attempted snog in a tent.

Not that I'm counting...

The reason they can't have kids is that they don't bloody know how to do it!! Angry

I may have ahem, dreams about "hello Nurse"

madmotherof2 · 05/03/2016 17:39

I think it'll be Trixie Sad

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/03/2016 17:46

Dr Turner must (or Timothy was a very lucky accident...).

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/03/2016 17:47

Besides, they're middle-aged parents, not like Barbara and Tom all youthful and frisky up against the wall Grin

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 05/03/2016 17:49

To be fair, if Dr and Mrs Turner had a similar arse grabbing, face sucking, wallpaper destroying session like Barbara and Tom had the other day that might disturb everyone further...

ShelaghTurner · 05/03/2016 17:54

You don't know how we've wished for arse grabbing, face sucking and wallpaper destroying! Grin

Then we gave up waiting and fanfic-ed it Blush

StitchesInTime · 05/03/2016 17:57

Who fell off a ladder?

I don't remember that.

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 05/03/2016 18:04

Sheilagh choosing new wallpaper would be an episode on it's own. Remember the faff over her wedding dress? She was only wearing it for a day... Wallpaper you have to look at for years.

Their humping will have to be confined to a tent. Dr Turner's erection was probably the only thing keeping that crappy tent up...

Lj8893 · 05/03/2016 18:05

Jenny's boyfriend who worked for the council fell of a ladder/scaffolding.

BikeRunSki · 05/03/2016 18:07

Angel, she is called Violet.

OldCrowMedicineShow · 05/03/2016 18:08
Shock

Didn't original Jenny's architect beau fall from the ladder? Or am I confusing him with someone else.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/03/2016 18:09

Jenny's boyfriend, Alec. Ok, it might have been a bit worse than falling off a ladder, but it was a very obvious "we don't know what to do with him, let's kill him off" storyline.

Joffrey Grin I'd watch an episode of her looking at wallpaper with Angela being adorable and Timothy a sulky teen while Dr Turner constantly mentions his chest clinic...

MrsJayy · 05/03/2016 18:10

I know you have all recovered but we just watched womb episode i need some sweet tea and a lie down jesus wept i felt clammy and crossed my legs dd watched like Shock . Poor cynthia we wept buckets and Aww SMJ im wrung out

BikeRunSki · 05/03/2016 18:10

Yes, Jenny's chap fell off a ladder in a derelict building, through the floor, crash landed on the ground etc. Miraculous recovery in hospital, lost a foot I think. Lots of "happy ever after" plans going on, then he died of something like a blood clot or injection in the space of about 2 hours.

Angelto5 · 05/03/2016 18:11

Thank you BikeRunSki Smile

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 05/03/2016 18:12

I am very much looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Despite the GOT style debauchery going on.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/03/2016 18:18

Joffrey - I'm crying at the "regret the invention of television" post! Grin

Can anyone join in?
Gutted it's the last one again. First series started two days after ds was born and I used to sit watching it on iplayer in the middle of the night whilst feeding him. Sorry, enough nostalgia Grin. Really hope it's not trixie, or anyone really Sad

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/03/2016 18:19

I know MrsJayy, I still feel ill thinking about it.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/03/2016 18:20

Of course mog!

I really want to start watching it from the beginning again. Do they have box sets?

OP posts:
NeedACleverNN · 05/03/2016 18:22

Yes they do Grin

I have them all

mogloveseggs · 05/03/2016 18:24

Thanks!
I've seen box sets in tesco. Have been watching series 2 I think on drama channel. The adverts annoy me though. Dd wants to watch it so that's a good excuse to buy them all Grin

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/03/2016 18:24

I think so. They have a CD too, with all 50s tracks, then the background music from the series.
