I'm not familiar with the story, but the trailers for it look awesome.

I can't see anything with both Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston in, as well as Olivia Colman being bad, can you?

You're a taste-free zone squoosh. Much like Britney Smile

Merciful, why on earth would you want to send yourself to Sherlock-rehab when there's so much to enjoy? A little of what you fancy does you good begins 8 hour Sherlock binge

Only, tight fitting suits and clothed bathing scene you say??????

OnlyLovers · 24/02/2016 17:48

Lotta, yes, did you watch it?

For ludicrous complicated reasons, he gets into a bathtub clothed and then has to get into a vair nice suit afterwards. Hubba hubba, ooooh young man, etc etc.

Lottapianos · 24/02/2016 17:51

No, didn't watch any of it but we recorded it so I may have to get er, stuck in, as it were

God I love suited posh boys. I probably should avoid the House of Commons as a previous poster warned. I had a massive thing for Nick Clegg for a while but can't think of any other even vaguely fanciable politicians. I must stop waffling now.

OnlyLovers · 24/02/2016 17:53

Oh, do! I'll warn you, it gets more and more Hmm as it goes on, but Ben (hotness aside) is MAGNIFICENT in it. As is Charlotte Rampling.

I don't think Ben is that posh actually; not an old Etonian like Tom etc, certainly. But he does give good suit.

LilacSpunkMonkey · 24/02/2016 17:55

I'm aware that the conversation has, bizarrely, moved on to Nick Clegg (of all people - for shame Lotta!) but back to the lovely, lovely Tom.

I watched The Night Manager last night. Thought it was brilliant and really looking forward to the next episode. Five more weeks of Tom....

squoosh · 24/02/2016 17:55

What about James Norton. He's my posh totty of choice these days.

I should have known the Sherlock rehab wouldn't work. Before I know it, I'll be back to watching the Sherlock/Molly kiss scene on a loop on YouTube. Oh and have you ever watched that long Jaguar advert he did (for the XKRS, also on YouTube)? Holy mother of god, that voice... You don't even see him on the advert, but he seriously sounds like he's trying to get into the car's knickers. Or the car buyer's. Someone's, anyway.

Lottapianos · 24/02/2016 17:57

Sorry Lilac - I am really really not proud of that one!

Giving good suit. Mmmmmm, that should totally be a category in the Olympics Smile

Lottapianos · 24/02/2016 17:59

Oh squoosh, you DO have excellent taste after all!!!! He is heavenly

Trying to get into the car's knickers sounds a hell of a lot hotter than it should do Grin will be YouTubeing later......

OnlyLovers · 24/02/2016 18:00

James Norton is a pretty boy, isn't he? He's not technically my type; bit too much of a well-fed handsome rugby type –but for some reason I find him hawt anyway.

He was a bit priggish and po-faced in War & Peace, but I love him in Grantchester. When's that coming back???

squoosh · 24/02/2016 18:01

merciful I'm worried for you. You sound feverish. You're probably not aware but you're getting hot and bothered about that funny looking bloke from Sherlock.

squoosh · 24/02/2016 18:02

I've had two dreams about Mr Norton in the past fortnight. Both dreams have been.......vigorous.

Grantchester is coming back soon I think. Then no doubt he'll be casting off the shackles of British TV and winging his way to the big time.

squoosh · 24/02/2016 18:03

Only yes I thought the consumptive Wishaw was more your thing.

OnlyLovers · 24/02/2016 18:10

squoosh, I know, he is, generally speaking, but I just can't help drooling over the vigorous Norton.

No accounting for taste, eh? Even within one person. Grin

mercifulTehlu · 24/02/2016 18:29

Ah... cool compress. Thanks Squoosh.... Hang on! Who are you calling 'funny looking'?!

mercifulTehlu · 24/02/2016 18:37

I think Wishaw's more my thing than Norton. It's odd - I used to go more for the rugged action hero type, but Sherlock seems to have converted me to the willowy, angular types. I think dh is a bit Hmm at my poorly-concealed Sherlock crush - he's 5'7" and stocky ish Grin.

Travelledtheworld · 24/02/2016 19:56

Completely off topic now but can we add Damien Moloney as Prince Hal the vampire in Being Human to the posh tottie list ?
Here he is in his best togs....

I'm liking TH in this cast photo. Mmm suit...

mercifulTehlu · 24/02/2016 20:49

Apparently all and sundry are regarding the Night Manager as TH's 'audition' to be the next James Bond! Yes please...

AdriftOnMemoryBliss · 24/02/2016 20:50

i've always been rather partial to this one.

Oh man! That's brilliant. Imagine him whispering to you in Loki character!

lavenderhoney · 24/02/2016 21:38

Well, Ive only just watched it on iplayer and I knew there would be a thread about it:)

I thought Hugh Laurie was great, apart from reminding me vaguely of Bernie Wooster and the special effects scary music when he walked into the hotel lobby v funny indeed. They should have played the jaws theme:)

I too wondered why Olivia was wandering about in the lobby looking at magazines after a lovely bath and champagne then going for a swim. But maybe she'd been told to scarper whilst HL had a nap or something.

TM was quite sweet, but I wasn't swooning or anything. Sadly. I'd like a new crush:)

squoosh · 25/02/2016 11:20

Travelled I'm afraid Damien Molony doesn't qualify for Posh Thesp Totty category.

wheelies · 25/02/2016 22:59

emotionally unavailable, svelte public school types in expensive suits - not sure about emotionally unavailable see here Tom Hiddleston

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 26/02/2016 01:13

And if the poster who sneered at me once by saying "let me guess I bet you think To His Coy Mistress is a good poem" reads this- yes I do.
