TNM has made me nostalgic for Mallorca as I haven't been for a few years. Am pleased I guessed the lair was near Port de Pollenca, as I have been there several times. Not too anywhere near as grand as Roper's place though, so that doesn't count as a stealth boast does it?

It does look lovely doesn't it? We've thought about Port de Soller before for hols...I wonder if I too could waft about in diaphanous dresses a la Jed?. Sadly as I'm nowhere need her height I'd probably look more like Corky in a pair of net curtains

I don't think that 'in the book the suicide has nothing to do with Roper' is automatically a spoiler; someone on here has already said the adaptation has veered away from the book, so it may not be following the book faithfully on this point either.
