I'm not familiar with the story, but the trailers for it look awesome.

I can't see anything with both Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston in, as well as Olivia Colman being bad, can you?

I'm not all about tom hiddleston I love le carré. Looking forward to another episode and while it's not completely faithful to the book it's not the worst adaptation.

dementedma · 13/03/2016 19:59

Wrong Tom. I think Tom Hollander is seriously sexy!

CaveMum · 13/03/2016 20:51

Checking in!

theredlion · 13/03/2016 21:12

Oh no he kissed her. That won't end well.

Namechanger2015 · 13/03/2016 21:25

Why do they do these dodgy exchanges in public in full view of a million people?

Why not meet in a hotel room or something?

MadauntofA · 13/03/2016 21:26

Wow, Neil,whatsitsname looks old!

TheSpottedZebra · 13/03/2016 21:29

FFS the dialogue is getting a bit dramatic, isn't it? It's like Dawson (of The Creek), wrote a spy film.

hornetgirl · 13/03/2016 21:32

hot flush territory , Phew!

theredlion · 13/03/2016 21:33

Madaunt I know, that means I'm old too Confused

BossWitch · 13/03/2016 21:34

Well, that was a seriously quick quickie.

Seriously, keep it in your pants you two! You could die! Barely worth it for a quick shag. What's wrong with these people?

thenightsky · 13/03/2016 21:42

why the hell would you risk a quick quicky like that when one of you depends on RR for her whole lifestyle and possible death and the other one of you relies on RR for his staying alive too.

Daft buggers.

Baconyum · 13/03/2016 21:48

Bloomin distraction from dd means only just getting peace now! Will watch on catch up and catch up with you discerning guys when I've seen it Angry

TheSpottedZebra · 13/03/2016 21:49

And Rich Richard Roper would really go down to the dark docks to personally meet his weapons? ?

Nope.

MadauntofA · 13/03/2016 21:54

It's all getting a bit ott

NeverEverAnythingEver · 13/03/2016 22:00

It is all a bit silly, but still, pretty exciting! Grin

witsender · 13/03/2016 22:00

We thought that zebra. As if they would be there!

CaveMum · 13/03/2016 22:01

Let's be fair, a spy thriller is never going to be anything but OTT!

Namechanger2015 · 13/03/2016 22:01

It is OTT and full of holes but I love it 😁 Still tense and gripping to watch.

Don't want the series to end, the leads are fantastic actors. I love how Olivia Coleman's pregnancy is referred to occasionally but not seen as a barrier to her doing her job, or spoken about negatively.

BossWitch · 13/03/2016 22:03

I'm enjoying it too much to want to start picking holes proper, but I didn't think this week's wasn't as strong as the previous episodes.

Hiddles is still fit as fuck though.

Trills · 13/03/2016 22:04

Poor Corky.

He is drunk and handling things terribly but he is RIGHT that Pine is deliberately sucking up to Roper and has bad intentions.

Trills · 13/03/2016 22:05

And I bet they did not use a condom there - she doesn't know where he's been!

PurpleDaisies · 13/03/2016 22:07

Anyone think the overdid th's tan? He was looking a little orange for most of the episode.

I'm really enjoying the series though.

MisForMumNotMaid · 13/03/2016 22:11

Who was covered in ketchup at the end? I can't have been concentrating, and suddenly the gore scene. I was expecting it to be the girlfriend.

BossWitch · 13/03/2016 22:13

It was the Spanish lawyer (and gf) who had been passing info to Burr.

Namechanger2015 · 13/03/2016 22:14

Good point about the condom Trills that's pretty grim of them!
