Indeed pix plus the extra shipping container on wheels I keep in the back garden for any overspill and ease of transport if ever I go caravanning to the Highlands

Woofy you are treating us with those stains...

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 15:46

Thank you Dancey I feel we're all good enough friends now that I can release and spill such personal stuff on here. Don't get me started on Manu's Spartacus loincloth, however, as that really would be overstepping the stubborn stains boundaries Grin

pixieg1rl · 06/01/2016 16:20

I saw that a container load of vanish bottles are washing up on Cornish beaches, is that why you haven't kept on top of the household chores woof?

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 16:30

Oh dear, really pix ? I wondered what had happened to my Christmas consignment. Suppose I'll have to go back to scrubbing...some things just never change

Onlygirljen · 06/01/2016 17:21

woof you are certainly plucky some might say spunky to take on those stains without vanish.

Happy new year dance, lovely to 'see' you dropping in Smile

KellyHb · 06/01/2016 17:40

Hi all

Busy day for me.

Ha pix just read that Sam Heughan drives an Audi!! Double assault on the senses. It'll have a large boot to keep all his kilt and equipment in I bet.

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 18:10

Jen never let it be said that I am not full of spunk when put on the spot Grin

BK28 · 06/01/2016 18:18

Belated Happy New Year to you all!

Looks like a good time to drop in, just as woof brings out the stains review for 2015!

Have just got back from the Highlands looking after 31, 15 - 25 year olds, not being an Outlander fan can confirm very little kilt wearing on view in Aviemore, may be something to do with the weather, although did spot a vest wearing, can holding and carrier bag clutching Scot, think Rab C Nesbit. Must have been tied to the kitchen sink so missed woof on tour with the trailer van!

Rich big sympathy with the DS issue, hope the trust issue conflab has been hammered home!! Spent the morning on a resilience course, one way of not coping with stress is to procrastinate - I didn't mention active participation in social media and working from home! So have just spent a productive afternoon catching up on all the festive or non festive activities on here, don't think I can beat pixs shit Xmas gift although SIL gave me a Xmas pudding ... why?

Travelled up North via the floodlands and also felt the presence of Storm Frank, so big hugs to any of you who have been impacted by the extremes of weather.

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 19:04

Ah, happy new year and sorry I missed you BK , but sniffing out kilts on manly specimens is painstakingly strategic not to mention time consuming and I had no energy left to spread myself too thinly in your neck of the Highlands Grin

KellyHb · 06/01/2016 19:11

Just read MK's blog and found a bit OG info that maybe or maybe not interesting but she says she's set herself fitness challenges for the next 6 weeks and that filming is soon.

Maybe Feb time for it to start?

Happy New Year bk.

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 19:16

Hi BK good to see you back safe and sound :)

There is a link on the BA FB page thingy about this film thefactory.us/work/work-in-progress/roman
Anyone heard anything ... I can't see where BAs name is listed, but it's on FB so it must be right, eh? Im sure someone much more computer tetchy can find something by idly googling the right thing!

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 19:17

Mid February sounds good for filming kel, is it hot in SA at this time of the year?

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 19:34

I know nothing of computers, Nick but am an expert at being tetchy. Never heard of Firebird either so need ice to get on it pronto. Think SA is v hot during our winter months just like Oz and NZ - Southern Hemisphere innit?

BK28 · 06/01/2016 20:38

Thanks nickel camping indoors and all arrived home safe and sound! Although 13 hours in a minibus full of teenagers can be rather exhausting - very eclectic tastes in music!!

Thought I saw in some mag pre Xmas MK mentioning going to Kenya, wondered if that is where they are filming OG2 rather than SA - don't quote me though.

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 20:38

Hee hee.... See, can't even spell on the cumpooter!

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 20:46

Yea, 13 hours in a minibus would drive me insane let alone with a bunch of kids!!

I think the series is set in Kenya, isn't it, but weren't they filming elsewhere coz is was safer? Maybe I imagined that?

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 20:56

I believe they do a lot of filming in SA as production costs are cheaper than the US or here, plus scenery is similar to Arabic settings like Afghan or Iraq. Strike Back and Homeland spring to mind can't think why

I'd guess Kenya is a bit too much of a powder keg at the moment to send a Brit film crew there - too close to kidnappers and Somalian gangs etc I'd wager Sad

Nick a cumpooter in Woof Manor is something else completely and is often favoured by AT when he's donning his crispy wig and re-enacting the scything scene in my back garden

icemistOBE · 06/01/2016 21:16

Filming 4-6 weeks away!!! Getting exciting now.

Firebird appeared on his CV around October time. No other info apart from the production website.

Knew you'd get to the bottom of it ice

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 21:45

Ik woof!
Grin
(Autocorrect wanted to turn "grin" into "grim" ... Clever cumpooter!)

pixieg1rl · 06/01/2016 22:02

Yeah, I doubt anyone would insure them for working in Kenya, it's a shame for Kenya but the logistics, security and local skills base are going to be much better in SA. I hope they choose somewhere that looks like it should. I get quite grumpy when these details aren't right. I couldn't watch Granchester because JN kept on cycling down the wrong streets for the journey he was making (Manchester friends have said the same about watching Car Share)

cjwoofwoof · 06/01/2016 22:05

Ooh nick grim it certainly ain't when I gaze at AT scything away at my bush and displaying his cumpooter in all its glory Grin Grin Grin

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 22:10

That's where you were going wrong pix, you should have been looking at JN, not the scenery!!
I have the same with midsomer murders bits which are filmed near me but the actors are nowhere near as distracting!

Nickel45 · 06/01/2016 22:11

Indeed woof Grin
