ilove I think I've heard of Deltacortril but I don't think mine have had that one. I'm glad your neighbour's feeling better today. Hope his daughters step up to the plate now.

Glad you had a dry first day at work too. Its chucking it down here. Hope its dry for tomorrow.

Nickel45 · 04/01/2016 21:44

ilove so pleased your neighbour is doing OK, you definitely did the right thing - bet he is so grateful to have you looking out for him.

I've managed to completely miss War & Peace (is it repeated?) and most other stuff over the last few days. Had family over, which was lovely but left no time for the essential popping in to here. All the kids (my two and three cousins) had a sleep over in DSs room last night ... (age ranging from 3 to 11. shoe horned in and told not to get up, else they'd tread on each other!). At 10 o'clock the littlie was pulled out to sleep elsewhere, by 11 the two eldest were asleep and at 11.30 my DD (5 years) and the other one were pulled out to go to sleep with the parents. My DD was really upset ... she was staying awake so they could have a midnight feast!!!!! Honestly, that child is stubborn! Was not impressed when I told her that she could only have a midnight feast if she had already been asleep (which that had been told about a million times already). Kids, eh! Luckily she was asleep early tonight (having still got up at 7 this morning ... yep, not impressed, as I had only got back to my bed at 6.45!). So, hopefully an early night for me tonight too!

Just finished Outlander, last few episodes are a bit harrowing, but really enjoyed the series. Definitely a Sam Heughan fan though Grin

pixieg1rl · 04/01/2016 22:29

Good news on your neighbour ilove. My DS had prednisone over the summer when the pollen sparked off his asthma, they send him loopy but they get them back on their feet quickly. You're very kind making him soup etc especially after your first day back at work.

KellyHb · 04/01/2016 22:58

Going to watch episode 11 now. Not tired at all at the moment.

I'm dreading watching 15 and 16 pix. I've heard its pretty hard to watch. Confused

Richtea19 · 04/01/2016 23:20

ilove your neighbour is very lucky to have you, especially homemade soup. After my first day back the kids had jacket spuds and beans!!! The cupboards are empty of proper food. Plenty of chocolate orange, kettle chips and wine though!!

Managed a dry day.. Alcohol not rain! And back to the gym tomorrow..dreading it.

nickel you made me giggle about the kids all in one room and waiting for a midnight feast. We have had nights in the past where when I've gone in to the room I am literally treading on bodies, hearing ouch! I've also given the boys a midnight feast at 10.30pm before, they are too old now to fall for that one!

Ilovelblue · 04/01/2016 23:26

Midnight feasts always remind me of books like Mallory Towers and St Clare's! I am definitely showing my age there.

MaddieMoo82 · 05/01/2016 00:09

Is there just one season of outlander or more... ?

kuiakaituhi · 05/01/2016 04:59

Outlander Series 2 is being shot now. Mostly in France. Due sometime this year.

KellyHb · 05/01/2016 09:37

Morning all.

Chucking it down here so we all got soaked in a 2 minutes it took to get them into school from the car. The boys looked like drowned rats, bless them.

pixieg1rl · 05/01/2016 09:54

Back to school and back to school admin. This morning and last night has been about signing forms and permission slips and cheques, and he's only been back a day.

We were running through after school clubs and MrP was all "do you want to do sports? How about football" and DS was reluctant, then I suggested disco dancing and he was very keen. Nothing my son likes more than a glitter ball and a bit of disco! I have a Gleb in training on my hands.

It's great to be back after my Christmas Outlander Re-enactment Mission up to the Scottish Highlands. I can honestly say that no kilt with a half-decent specimen inside was left unturned and I was all over it as Foxy would say. I hope I accurately followed the plot as I've never seen the series, but it was easy to improvise to a Woof version anyway, which I'm guessing is probably close to the show format if pixs and kels lustful dribbling is anything to go by Grin

A belated Happy New Year to all you cockwombles and I hope you enjoyed the holidays. It's back to the grindstone here too - I'm busy freeze framing AT in That Towel on Agatha Christie to make my wallpaper on my new Gold vajazzled Christmas iPad Air 2 that my DH and the boys bought me or rather the replacement for the cheapest, smallest gig iPad mini that he originally bought that I promptly upgraded and paid double the price on his credit card

Next mission is to catch up on all the brill ff I've missed, lovely...

icemistOBE · 05/01/2016 11:33

Just took down tree and decorations, all packed away for another 11 months.

6 yo back to school today, nice to sit down and relax with just the 2 going on 6 yo!!

Not watched War & Peace yet. Haven't watch stuff I recorded over Christmas either Confused We are watching one of the Madagascar films at moment

pixieg1rl · 05/01/2016 12:12

I still have all my Xmas viewing to go through as well ice. I'd like to start with AT and his towel, but MrP has probably had enough of my tastes dribbling for the time being.

I've really enjoyed working through a box set between Xmas and new year, I think I might make it an annual event at ours.

Onlygirljen · 05/01/2016 12:27

I am a complete and utter fuckwit. Forgot I'd taken an extra day of holidays this side of the new year and came back to work a day early Confused. Am now the butt of all office jokes and cursing the fact that I could have been at home finishing outlander!! Clearly too much DVD watching has addled my brain...

pixieg1rl · 05/01/2016 12:31

You are an absolute bell end Jen, did you not just turn around and go home?

Onlygirljen · 05/01/2016 12:36

Nah, by that point I'd done the whole back to work dread, sleepless night and getting up at the crack of dawn to come in, so figured I may as well stay where I was and take the day back later. Have spent the morning clearing my desk and reading the guardian online so clearly have been highly productive. What a twat I am.

KellyHb · 05/01/2016 13:21

Oh bless you Jen. Easy done. I'm surprised I never did that when I went to work. I think watching Outlander has addled my brain too. All I'm thinking about is the fab chemistry between the leads and the great QS scenes. Shock

Happy New Year woof Wine Yes sorry more Outlander talk but I highly recommend the series! Especially the naked Jamie standing in water and the scene where he tells Claire 'he wants to watch her'. GrinGrinGrin

We must sound like we're sponsored by Outlander! Smile

Onlygirljen · 05/01/2016 13:40

Ah yes, I watched the 'wanting to watch her' episode last night. Nicely done Jamie, nicely done Grin

Sorry, will try and stop with the Outlander chat now...

Nickel45 · 05/01/2016 13:55

Hey woof, good to have you back. It's not been the same level of innuendos without you.

I'm going to have to get me some Outlander.

jen :( - at least you'll get the days holiday another time xx

cjwoofwoof · 05/01/2016 14:43

Oh dear jen looks like you under-estimated your overspill of days off which is most unlike you normally I respectfully suggest you get a better grip of it in future, as I'm sure they must say in Outlander during Ep 10.

And let me assure you pix AT lingering in the hallway in just his towel felt like all my Christmases had come at once, and that's not easy with acute myopia and a locked hip let me tell you. Dismiss MrP to Tescos/pub asap and fill your boots - you won't be disappointed - it was a 10 on the Well Bless my Soul He's Got an Awesome Body, Lets Rewind and Watch Again Chart, which hasn't reached such a peak since Manu Bennett was forced to strip and mount his master's wife in Spartacus many moons ago but forever etched in my imagination as if it was yesterday

KellyHb · 05/01/2016 17:00

I was just reading that the cast for The Fall S3's been announced as they're filming this week. Do people think that's when they'll announce OG S2, when they've started filming in SA?

Just there's no news and times getting on.

KellyHb · 05/01/2016 17:00

OG S2 cast I should say.

icemistOBE · 05/01/2016 17:40

That's what they did last time near enough, 1st cast read through was when the full cast was announced. Expecting something similar this time

apsara03 · 05/01/2016 18:05

Oh dear jen but does it mean you've got a day's holiday still to take - sneaky dvd day when family thinks you're at work??
Have ordered outlander on eBay. Watched war and peace last night - wasn't over impressed. Seemed v slow though maybe tired after 1st day back. Have just started watching blind spot - about a girl who turns up in NY with amnesia and covered in tattoos, first one was good Lead male easy on the eye.
Hope all the return to school has gone well - we had frantic labelling of trousers this morning as hadn't got round to it over the hols and DS2's legs have grown
