SCD 2015 #9 - Final musings, then the Christmas Special!

We still seemed happy chatting and filled up the last thread completely, so I thought we could have one more for the year. It should see us through the Christmas Special (which I'm really looking forward to!) too

Yes I think Kristina is finished on Strictly hence she's going into CBB tomorrow. She would never have got a partnered with a good (attached) dancer anyway. I have no sympathy for her.

i feel for Kristina . the way she is blamed for the men straying. they were the ones who did the dirty and the blame lies with them.

Ben Cohen is an idiot but Kristina is also responsible. His wife Abby and 2 kids have suffered this year and been incredibly hurt. Kristina has been instrumental in that. She could have left well alone - she was the professional dancer. I think she's blown it now and has only herself to blame.

The woman always gets blamed in these situations, but at the end of the day she was single and hasn't really done anything wrong.

On the other hand, given that most of the professionals go through several series without so much as the rumour of an affair with their celebrity partners, it's not too clever to get involved twice, particularly when your partner is married.

I think Kristina will actually be quite dull on CBB. She's known for being one of the nicer pro's behind the scenes.

Speaking of which has anyone seen the pictures of Gleb in his underpants on the cover of Attitude magazine? I didn't know where to look

I know tons of people who have ended up with their dance partners. I went out with one of mine, and I got on very well with another. We had lots in common outside of dancing but nothing ever happened as he went back to his home country.

Anyway, I'm not surprised about Georgia and Giovanni. Always thought them going on about how they saw each other as brother and sister was them covering up their feelings for each other.

Am a bit sad Kristina's leaving, I've always liked her. I suppose though, as awful as this sounds, that as she's 38 she's practically geriatric in the dancing world now.

Just googled the Attitude cover...... Gleb is very full of himself but who can blame him really?

Mrs Gleb is a lucky woman. But possibly quite a worried one.

Well I wouldn't let him out of the bedroom house if he was my husband.

In all seriousness though it must always be a worry for her, he must get women chucking themselves at him all of the time. And he allegedly does have form for cheating on her.

He is gorgeous - looks amazing on that cover, although also looks like he knows it & loves himself!

I agree that Ben & Joe were the ones in the relationships, but Christina is by no means blameless - her morals are completely abhorrent & I'm glad to see the back of her from Strictly.

I like Kristina, I think she's a great dancer. I do have some sympathy for her, they always roll her out when they do the Strictly Curse stories, with the 'look look marriage wrecking harlot, it's all her fault'. You cant steal a happily married man and all that.

Not surprised she's not returning, she's destined for the geriatrics for the rest of her days.

And as for Gleb . He's not exactly shy is he.

Anyone watching 'You Make Me Feel Like Dancing' on BBC2 now?

I watched it Horsemad, I'd love it if old style dance venues like that were popular again. I don't get to dance outside of my lessons as I'm not allowed to compete as an amateur because I'm training as a teacher. I'm definitely not good enough to compete as a Pro!

It would be amazing if the dance halls opened again, my Mum used to go to them in the late 50s and they sounded a good night out!

I watched it too I'm looking forward to the next episode.

That's a shame CaveMum - there are a few social dancing clubs around me, I suppose it just depends where you are.

Just watching "you make me feel like dancing" about 50mins in and i thought it was about to finish on a cliff hanger of "will they find more male dancers in time"

Yes i've recorded "You Make me feel like dancing" The trailer looked good , I ration my TV watching so need a space of crap programmes to watch recordings!

I'm still annoyed about the semi final of SCD and the audience chucking out Anita as opposed to a pretty statuesque woman who can do a bit of ballroom but that's it!

Kristina has just announced she is pregnant.

She must have been pregnant during the later stages of Strictly, then. Sooner her than me with some of the dances they were doing.

Apparently she said she's almost 3 months, so she must have had a scan before going into the house. Guess it's safe to say she won't be back for SCD 2016! So that's two new female pros needed, if we assume Jo will take one of the three slots.

I do hope Mr Cohen had told his estranged wife and children beforehand. It's not fair if they find out via the media.
