We still seemed happy chatting and filled up the last thread completely, so I thought we could have one more for the year. It should see us through the Christmas Special (which I'm really looking forward to!) too

this year there were several dances where I though she could have given Jay more to do and not had so much of him supporting her while she shows off.

This was my exact problem with Aliona in this series. Too much of the time Jay was stood like a lemon while she danced around him. He was a decent dancer, she should have utilised him more.

Still think Kellie was robbed on the night though. The only dance my 4 yr old still asks to see on iplayer is the KK star wars charleston but she is a big star wars fan.

The Christmas Special is on Christmas Day at 6.15.

Rather bereft too. Suspect I would even if we had a post-final ITT but I still want one.

Getting rid of clutchy hand-holdy Stating the Bleeding Obvious Tess would be an improvement. Not sure who I'd like, but someone like Steph. Or Bill Turnbull - he's retiring I think from the morning show so he could do Sept -Dec on Strictly. And he'd be lovely to the contestants. Maybe he's too sedate though, you need someone with a bit of spark.

Love Graham Norton but he'd take the piss of the judges too much so I don't reckon the producers would want him.

Speaking of sexually charged, Kevin was married to another dancer called Claire before he met Karen, and she was also in Burn the Floor with him for a while. Then he met Karen and it's all a bit confusing from there because Claire claims they had an affair but Kevin says they'd already seperated.

Claire is now a pro on the Australian DWTS I think?

There is a post-final ITT on iPlayer Fiderer Zoe did it live just after the show.

I saw it, I just want a proper day-after-the-event, not the emotionally charged show's just finished I love everyone interviews.

That would be lovely. I think they should have a Karen Hardy special when she comes back from wherever she is, and she can dissect the choreography and execution of all the final dances.

Oh yes, I wanted the judges too but thinking it over I reckon they'd prevaricate & um & ah to be diplomatic whereas KH has the knack of getting to the point without being mean.

Though frankly a brutally honest dissection of the pros' choreography would be a treat.

Kevin Clifton must be hung like a horse. Bleeeugh, sorry. But HONESTLY he looks about 12.

I really want Anton to go now. Mainly cos whilst he really earnt my admiration this series doing all those lifts (that last one where she dropped on him from a height was Gleb-worthy) but he's bloody 50 years old and its only a matter of time before he seriously hurts himself.

AND he's gonna get another turkey next year "to even things out". And Anton with an old comedy duffer has been done too many times. Its not even funny any more.

But I'm not sure what he'd do instead. I don't see any of the judges budging. I'd replace Creepy Coked-Out Bruno with him in a heartbeat. (Anyone notice Monkseal doesn't even recap Bruno's bits any more? Quite right).
