I've just watched Christmas Downton. Feel a but meh about it, but maybe cos every five minutes one or other child kept disturbing me! Did notice that Mr. Selfridge is on next weekend though, some of it was filmed near me, so will be looking out for that.

Is anyone watching Sherlock?

Nickel even though I'd lost patience with Downton (after having visited Highclere where a lot of it was filmed), I did quite enjoy the final episode. Have to admit I cried a bit as well! I watched Paul O'Grady's for the Love of Dogs and Call the Midwife and cried at those too. Reckon it might have been the alcohol talking.

I watched Gareth Malone tonight getting a new choir together from the best of his previous choirs and I cried at that too! We had the song from the Military Wives Choir played at my Mum's funeral as she loved watching the series he did and I suppose I just got a bit maudlin. My own fault because I knew they would show the military wives, I should have fast forwarded over that bit.

I watched Midwife with my parents, but had a tear in my eye!!
Now making up for it by watching (whispers) Chas and Dave and embarrassingly seem to know quite a lot of the words ... may be shouldn't admit to that?!

Evening. We've been watching Sherlock - interesting and confusing in equal measures. Plenty of talking points. We also enjoyed location spotting and have been to the creepy old house that featured.

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit nickel?

Going to have to save that for when I can concentrate thenrhu!

I won't spoil the story Nickel but there are references to several Sherlock Holmes stories within it so if you know them you can spot which bits. It all gets a little bit jumbled up but it's clever and even if I couldn't exactly tell you what happened or why the interaction between the main characters is always good. We enjoyed it, anyway.

Oh my pix, that there episode 7 was something else. I tell you what, if we only had something similar to that for only one scene between CJ/Molly, there'd be a lot of happy fans indeed!!

Skimmed through episode 8 but def need to rewatch later. More parts to peak my interest.

Another rainy day here. I think it's rained constantly since we got back.

Can't believe it's back to the school routine in a couple of days. I'll have to try and get to bed earlier.

Morning all. kelly you must have had a outlander marathon last night! Sounds like it was worth it. will try and watch another episode later. The fun continues today off to buy a lamp MrMads has great plans I'm just going along with it....

mads I wish I could get DH enthused about "homeware" never happens.

James Norton is being interviewed in GNorton radio show this morning. No visuals but still a treat.

I can't wait until you get to episode 11 Kelly. I need to discuss it with someone.

I'm tempted to skip to episode 10 and then 11 but I don't want to miss any plot. I can't watch any through the day as kids are about. Gah!

I'll bumper watch some tonight. I don't want to spoil anything but I'll just say Black Jack is a complete t**t.

Ripping the cellophane off the outlander DVD today I think. Still not feeling good so taking the opportunity to stay on the couch all day while the kids play iPad . Preparing myself for Braveheart-esque dodgy accents.

ilove your mention of shiny toilet paper made me laugh last night, brings back memories of the caravan park I used to go and stay in with my grandparents in the summer holidays - we all used to get dispatched to the outdoor loos with our own loo roll so we didn't have to use the shiny stuff. It was a bad day whenever you forgot to lift it - can't believe anyone would voluntarily have the stuff in their house!!

Kelly See, I told you so! But DO NOT skip forward. There is more to come, but you need the continuity of the storyline. Some of it is very tough to watch. You can see why Outlander isn't on mainstream TV.

Enjoyed episode 1, love that the Skye Boat Song is the theme tune - another thing that takes me back to my childhood. Hadn't realised it was actually filmed here either.

Only problem is that DH discovered i was watching and wants to watch too, so I now need to wait for him to catch up!!

kuia I think I know of one really tough scene coming up in a future episode which hope its not too bad but bracing myself for it.

Fab chemistry between the two leads though. I do like Tobias Menzies in his 1940s clothes. Hope you enjoy the series Jen. The theme song is gorgeous

DH wants to Xmas decorations down but am to tired after bathing the kids and giving the boys a haircut.

I'll put it off until tomorrow.

One of the Twitter ladies said that BA coukd be in the first episode of Lucky Man. I've got Sky 1 on in the background to try and catch a new trailer or something
