Richard Armitage in Strike Back.... Def a theme going on!

pixieg1rl · 10/12/2015 12:40

I think Jerome had the edge on my impressionable 16 year old mind, but Robson Greene is better with the benefit of hindsight.

MaddieMoo82 · 10/12/2015 12:44

Ooh Robson green here too Smile adored him Blush

MaddieMoo82 · 10/12/2015 12:48

Nickel45 · 10/12/2015 12:48

Ah pix, that's the difference - I was older and questionably wiser being in my twenties!!

Nickel45 · 10/12/2015 12:49

If I wasn't at work mads I'd be looking for naked pics of SB to post!

MaddieMoo82 · 10/12/2015 12:55

I'm on it.... Best you wait though there are some pretty graphic ones available Blush

KellyHb · 10/12/2015 13:52

Did anyone see when SB did Lady Chatterley's Lover. Cor blimey. From what I renember not much was left to the imagination. Wink

Afternoon ladies. Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone.

My house is now upside down and in a mess because I have started trying to tidy up and clear out but needless to say I am already lacking interest in finishing the job. Had to pop in here for a bit to fortify myself before I go back to it. I've said it before but I could probably solve the problem with a couple of large skips on the drive and remove two thirds of the house contents. None of this is helped by the fact that no one else can be bothered in the slightest to keep anything tidy. I'm now pretty glad that my kids said they didn't really want anything for Christmas as it would only make things worse.

Jen in answer to your question about SCD the answer is if you ask the right question to google by about 10.30 on a Saturday night a certain website pops up which contains the answer. I'm sure the BBC must hate it because the person who runs it gets their info from someone in the audience each week. It hasn't been wrong yet. In case the BBC are monitoring don't worry because I still usually watch the Sunday show anyway because I like to see it and the judges comments etc and frankly there's nothing else on at the moment.

Got the Christmas Radio times today so have been scanning through to see what's worth watching. Although I'm sure I will watch the AT Agatha Christie drama I actually heard it dramatised on the radio a couple of months ago so the story is still fresh in my mind and I know the plot and outcome so it's a bit of a mixed feeling. Still I'm sure it will be worth it for the views!! I wonder if 'Dickensian' is going to be good or a total wash out but I've discovered it's 22 half hour episodes and I'm bound to end up missing some and then will I be bothered to go back. Looking forward to the Sherlock special as well. Will also have to watch Downton just to see it end - but that's Christmas Day so it's allowed almost a guilty pleasure. Talking of which Soldier Soldier - definitely a guilty pleasure but you can't beat a bit of Robson and Jerome in their heyday and I don't mean singing!!

KellyHb · 10/12/2015 16:28

I need to buy a Xmas TV guide rhu. When I was out and about today, I forgot to get one.

Tbh I've read a couple of times the SCD spoilers as I was too excited for the results to come through.

While walking kids home from school, saw lots of stag Xmas ornaments in people's windows!

pixieg1rl · 10/12/2015 16:46

I bought myself a new scarf this afternoon, still haven't bought any Xmas presents for the family though. Look after no.1 is my motto

I'm in a thoroughly crap mood, my eldest had a complete melt down at gymnastics and showed me up no end, too much work to do, evening/night in London tomorrow which I haven't prepared for and now I'm getting in a flap! Surely a glass of wine will help :)

Nickel45 · 10/12/2015 19:59

... Or a bottle speighty Xmas SmileWineChocolateWineCakeWine Sending hugs xx

Nickel45 · 10/12/2015 20:00

Speighty33 · 10/12/2015 20:04

Speighty33 · 10/12/2015 20:04

I think I need some new fanfic to get me through the bad mood and the wine

KellyHb · 10/12/2015 20:47

Lovely scarf pix. I would love to wear that pattern.

I know about that kind of day too well with my little bleeders. greenstuffs FF will help sort you out. (A Christmas Wish). Its so romantic and just perfect Molly and CJ. Hope she does a few chapters of this story.

Ilovelblue · 10/12/2015 21:07

Evening all. A hectic today with CJ, even though I was at work. Just as predicted, he was very sarcastic about my filthy car (does he not realise it's rained here for 2 weeks non stop) so I ignored him and turned up my new Elvis CD in the car to drown him out, at which point he started to sing along and forgot he was in a sulk. Very entertaining - small car though so couldn't really do the Elvis moves too well!

He nearly stopped breathing when I told him some men had bought raffle tickets for "An Evening With CJ" as well as most of the women. He'd not envisaged himself appealing to the male of the species. Our receptionist was over the moon to see him again and he addressed her by name - she went all giggly!

pixieg1rl · 10/12/2015 21:13

Oh my. Tristan and Gleb showing off their pants in the same photo.

Ilovelblue · 10/12/2015 21:29

RL was a little more sedate but we drew our raffle today with a visit from the fundraising manager at the hospice dressed as an elf! Our final total was £1,323 and a further £330 on the plants = £1,653. Our overall total amounts to £29,623 over the years. Feel totally kn........d tonight.

MaddieMoo82 · 10/12/2015 21:32

Wow pix if you could just arrange for them to lower those trousers even more that would be fab.... Grin
Loving the stag scarf too.

Sounds like CJ is keeping you busy ilove hope he is looking after you this evening.

I agree kelly greenstuffs FF is fab. Wish my mil was like Margaret!! Smile

Finally did some Xmas related stuff today....brought cards, paper and some tat for the ceilings which I've yet to hang. Think I've peaked though as that's probably as productive as I'll get!!

pixieg1rl · 10/12/2015 21:34

I think CJ needs to run you a bath, pour you a wine and give you a good rub down ilove. Fantastic total.

KellyHb · 10/12/2015 21:40

Oo yes mads. Let's drop those trousers further please boys?!

Have an enjoyable evening with CJ tonight ilove. Has he got plenty of oomph left in him after all his ladies visits?

Talked to a friend tonight on the phone I haven't spoken to in a while and I was going to do a bit of ironing after but really can't be bothered. I'll probably sack it off and watch TV.

Wouldn't it be great mads if Greenstuffs new story was made into a one off Xmas special. CJs so lovely in it.

MaddieMoo82 · 10/12/2015 21:57

I know he is soooo lovely kelly I can just imagine them sitting looking at the photo album to together. I wish they showed the Christmas scenes in the first series.

Ilovelblue · 10/12/2015 22:00

Yes, he is just sooooooo lovely. You can really imagine them flicking through the photo album. Greenstuff has given it that lovely warm and fuzzy feel to it all. If you'd been on here last Christmas Maddie, I think we were all hoping there would be a one-off Christmas special to tie it all together.

Well, off to bed now to see what treats CJ has in store! We've had the bath and the wine........
